the employees are just flat out rude. clearly rooted from lack of management and care for their place of work.
Previously I would have given this place a 1 star because they messed up my order every single time and even have forgotten entire meals if I ordered multiple, but today they did good for the first time EVER. I walked in and ordered in person instead of through the app. DO NOT ORDER THROUGH THE APP...THEY WILL MESS YOUR ORDER UP. That happened to me about ten times before I gave up on them. But the employees tonight (2-24-2022) were all very friendly and most of them were wearing their masks except for two male employees. The food was super bland tasting today though, I don't know why (no I don't have COVID, I still smell and taste everything). I hope this place improves...today was a hopeful sign of progress...but this normally has been my least favorite Chipotle hands down.
I have been to this place at least 4 times in the last 2 months. Every time I ordered a Veg Bowl or Sofritas they were always out of fajitas. Today they were our of lettuce too. When I asked them how come they out of it all the time .... the response was they cant control everything ....Well if you cant control how much food should be prepared at your restaurant , then I can control one thing for sure ... NOT COME TO YOU...Horrible service ... Horrible response ...
I’ve been to this location several times and have had nothing but good experiences. I think people who complain about there being missing ingredients, or maybe if they had to wait 5 minutes for something, need to go work in a restaurant during a pandemic when there are supply chain issues. Have you been to the grocery store lately? Empty shelves. If Chipotle runs out of one thing, just order something else, all of their food is delicious! You should be thanking the employees for making your lunch for you, and for working in a public-facing job during a time when so many people have left that type of job.My ONLY complaint about this location is, well, the location. It’s at a very busy intersection that has never been well designed, and you have to drive past other fast food places whose drive thru lines can sometimes block traffic, but none of that is Chipotle’s fault, really.
Probably the worst chipotle in north county, extremely slow, disorganized, messy, constantly running out of items.. but if you live in San Marcos and don’t feel like driving to vista or Escondido you don’t have much choice ?♂️
Coming from a guy who used to work at chipotle and been to several in my lifetime, I’ve never been so disappointed with a location like this one. I can say I’ve gone here about 5 times and on my fourth time it was genuinely good but today was my last time. For one they didn’t have anything available like vinaigrette, queso and chips and sanitation was absurd. On top of that one of the workers was unprofessional by throwing a ball of cheese found in the cheese across the back of the warehouse and to other people it might just not look professional and doesn’t represent chipotles vision of food ethos. This also prevents the general manager from every becoming restaurateur.
Last few times I’ve visited this place it feels like I’m pulling my own teeth.Zero customer service skills and you feel as if you’re bothering them with your business. To top it off you can’t understand or hear them well with the face diaper, even after you ask several times to speak up.Retraining staff required.
Food is really good, and the staff is generally very nice. Everyone messes up sometimes, so its 5 from me.
Other than a difficult location - this store is great. Service was good, food was fresh and all went as expected.
Honestly worst chipotle to come too they run out of alot of ingredients and don't prep, online orders don't come out correctly and need a better manager to run this place properly
