Got a Facebook ad on this place and they offered BOGO coupon. Decided to check them out since we were heading that way. I arrived and there were two girls appear to be occupied attending the waffle machine, one of them glanced and smiled at me. After a few minutes of being ignored, I asked if they are open, then only they realized that I have been waiting to order... Frankly there were not a lot of people in the food court so I'm surprised they cannot keep track of who's ordered and who hasn't.I placed two orders of the chicken waffle, paid $12.99 with the BOGO coupon, quite pricey for just popcorn chicken coated in some sauces IMHO, wouldn't have gotten it if not for the coupon. Since the offer was for dine in only, I carried the tray to the table gingerly as waffle cones were placed in an upright position in a wire holder of some sort which made them top heavy and wobbly.Liked the concept but after the experience that I went through, it felt like a gimmick. Flavor wise, the chicken were just OK, served with toothpicks, waffle cone tasted OK as well. The sauces I got were cinna-maple and yellaBBQ, both tasted weird and didn't feel that they complement the chicken
I love that you can get Mac n cheese tossed with chicken all in one cone. It’s so unique but also damn juicy and tasty. I love the ranch and Buffalo sauce with this combo. It’s a must try.I’m not big on shakes but the chocolate was good. I’m more of a savory person and still thought it was pretty good.
Congrats to @chicknconesanmarcos on their #grandopening ???I did a post a couple months ago when they had their soft opening, so we were excited to go back and try more now that they have the full menu available.Today we got the chick'n cone with the kickin ranch sauce, which was just as amazing as we remembered. Their chicken has such a nice crunch on it, and it's already seasoned so nicely, but their sauces are so good. The kickin ranch is nice and creamy with a nice zesty spicy kick. They hooked it up with all 3 sides for us - cajun fries, corn and mac n cheese. The cajun seasoning is so nice on the fries and corn, and their mac is so ridiculously cheesy and creamy I was about to old-fashioned style swoon ?They even further blew our minds with a chocolate waffle crunch shake! So rich and chocolaty, with delicious bits of crunchy waffle cone mixed in for a taste of heaven.We also got an order of 4pc chicken tenders with their seasonal honey fire sauce - perfect combination of sweet and spicy ?Chick'n Cone is located on San Marcos Blvd in a food court next to the movie theater, so be sure to check them out! They're the perfect place to grab a quick bite or hang out with friends after watching a movie or... just whenever! Came to Chick'n Cone San Marcos with my kids for an absolutely delightful Valentine's Day dinner. The food here is by far my daughter's favorite replacing Chikfila as her favorite chicken restaurant. The dinner included roses and a candle all ng with special Valentine's shakes and a red waffle cone for our chicken. The service is always amazing here. You can tell how much they truly care about each customer who comes here. Thank you for such fun memories.
What an amazing restaurant. I had surgery a few days ago and this was my first non-hospital meal. The owner was so welcoming and really cares about the quality of food that is served because of recent surgery I could not physically go to the restaurant but my husband and daughter went to pick up our dinner. I ordered the chicken in a cone with maple syrup. My kids ordered sandwiches. Everything was delicious from start to finish. We plan to return again. I strongly recommend this restaurant. There are so few that actually care about their customers.
This was our first time here and the person who waited on us was excellent. He took time to explain things to us very well. I got the chicken waffle cone and had cinn maple sauce on my chicken it was the bomb and wasn't sure about eating the waffle but the coated the cone and it was amazing. Also Mac and cheese it was so creamy. Awesome place I will be going back to try the shake and different sauces. Thanks so much
Super excited after I pulled into the mall to get something to eat. I got the maple waffle chicken, fries and chocolate shake. I shared with my wife and we dug in right away. Vishal did this meal right as o got my food hot and quick. The fact it was this tasty was awesome.Next time I’ll get the sandwich, and we really enjoyed the food our first time around.
This place is great! So yummy! I brought home for sons for dinner and they loved it! We asked and got every flavor sauce to try. My favorite was the spicy piri piri sauce. The maple sauce w the fries was super decadent w fries. Perfect thing after the movies.
Been waiting for months for this place to open, glad to say that it was worth the wait when they finally opened.Today I ordered a chick'nCone comb (with a shake instead of a drink) with a side of Mac and Cheese. Everything about their food tasted fresh, delicious, and extremely mouthwatering that you might as well order a second round of it.I first tasted the my caramel Waffle Cone Milkshake as I was curious to see if it was worth ordering it when I originally came in for the chicken. Was sweet, but not overly sweet, and smooth as most shakes I had was way to thick in my opinion. I do think that it can be a little more thick from another scoop of ice cream, but can see that this shake was wonderful. Easy to enjoy as I was able to sip it easily through my straw.Next, I tried the Mac and Cheese as my side and man it had the right amount cheese in their Mac. Scrumptious and delightful to have.Lastly, their chicken and waffle cone. I'm happy to know that all their waffle cones are made instead of it being store bought which adds extra freshness in their quality of food. Their chicken was crispy and so juicy that I was licking the sauce that I asked for (Buffalo Blue) that were in my fingers.This place has essentially "put your money where your mouth is" with the way they made my order.Hope to come here again and see the friendly staff at this place.
Delicious and interesting idea to have chicken in a fresh waffle cone. Almost like chicken and waffles the flavors pair quite well. The staff here were super friendly and the tables were clean.
