I LOVE better buzz and this location is so close to me that it gives me a quick fix when I am craving something. their lavender black tea latte is my go too that I will always get along side a açaí bowl. Although this location does not have a full kitchen like most of the other locations in SD it gets the job done. Customer service with some of the baristas is a little bit rough but I understand the ups and downs of customer service so although I could be upset about it I try to give the baristas a warm smile in hopes it helps them through their shift.
Inconsistent. I love the Hazelnut Divinity and ordered it for years at the PB location. I no longer work near there. So now I use the San Marcos location. They are super inconsistent. Occasionally it's sweet, the way it should be, but more often it's not at all sweet. When I talked to them they said they always make it the same way.... I don't think so.
First time here and placed my order at 8:46 vanilla latte and an açaí bowl. Pull up to the window and they ask me what I ordered clearly me ordering and paying the girl at the sign didn’t make it to them yet. I repeat my order the man hands me my drink and says have a nice day. Wait what about my açaí bowl? He says oh yea pull up to spot one and I’ll bring it right out to you. I wait till 9:00 befor I get out of my car and walk back and say I have to go. The same guy says oh what was your order again. Are you kidding me I paid $21 for a latte and a açaí bowl and this is the customer service. Not one single apology just here you go and hands me the bowl that was on the counter behind him. Will not return or recommend.

I almost everyday enjoyed a hot hazelnut divinity coffee with a chocolate croissant and their coffee was so good. However, lately my coffee is not hot when I asked to be hot . I had to go back to get it hot as ordered and then they gave it to me not extra hot as ordered.and the worst happened the next day when I ordered my coffee and enjoying it ,…I felt a chunk of something in my mouth that came out from the coffee. I spilled it out and saw this (see picture) I was so disgusted ?
I live 2 hours away and make it a point to come here every single opppunity I get. Best drinks I have ever had. Theres a girl there who even recognizes me everytime I go! Harry Potter girl lol. Which js crazy because I haven't been back in almlst 2 months. I work at a coffee shops and ours just doesn't compare.
My daughter recommended this place but I did not particularly enjoy it. The coffee was okay but the scones are most decidedly not scones. I don't know how they decided to call them scones but they are much more like muffins and they seem to be made of dirt and twigs. the drive-thru is also extremely difficult to navigate.
I get long lines means service is slower and this is a tinier location but the San Marcos better buzz is really slow. FYI they prioritize drive in orders over walk ins so if you want your drink in under 25 min…. Just wait in line and skip the walk in order.. they will ignore you. Unfortunately about 7/10 times they get my order wrong too. Great coffee, just long wait times and having to send back my order a lot ??
I completely hate the way their drive through is set up!!! All of their customers block every single parking space for the rest of the small local businesses! No one can drive into any of the parking spaces without almost fighting with another driver because they just sit there in the way. It’s so frustrating, I hope the property manager sees this and does something about it!! And that BETTER BUZZ CORPORATE reviews thispost.
Been going to the San Marcos location for quite some time. It’s a little bit of a drive for us but we really enjoy the great tasting drinks. However, we probably won’t go back in the future. Last visit we were told that the system was down after waiting 40 minutes in the drive through. The technology issues are understandable but it was disappointing to have to wait that long a leave empty handed. Will have to find another coffee spot for the future.
