Was recommended her by someone as the best sandwiches in town and WOW we were impressed. The owner was also wonderful and friendly. Great shop and incredible sandwiches.
Probably the best Italian sub I've had. The meatball and sausage sub is great too!
We used to LOVE Giant Grinder under the old ownership. Just went in after not having been there for a couple years, and were very disappointed. We wanted to order our old favorite, pepper and egg sandwiches, and we were told that they couldn't get eggs (what??) so they no longer carry the sandwich. We might have been okay with it, if the sandwiches that we did order were any good. They were nothing but thick, dry, days-old bread, very little meat, and did not resemble a grinder whatsoever. We will not be back.
Meatball sandwich serves for lunch and the rest for dinner. Fabulous.
Very good sandwiches on very nice fresh bread. I ordered Dutch crunch bread and ate half of my 18 inch sandwich and realized it was on the white bread instead.. Tasted great none the less.
I only ate here because High St. was packed. I don't usually write bad reviews but I was definitely disappointed in my sandwich. The bread tasted like wonder bread and the sandwich was mostly bread compared to the stuffing. I doubt I will be going back.
Cute patio, very friendly owner, and turkey pesto is delicious!
Have been getting sandwiches from here for years! Today, we got their pan pizzas and they were delicious!!!
Great, large sandwiches with a nice variety of flavors. The cranberry turkey sandwich was perfect. The chicken parmigiana sandwich would do better with a stronger tomato sauce and chicken breast instead of slices, but is good otherwise.
Got a giant grinder today to share, and we all agreed it was not very good. Dry, tasteless, poor quality meats. Salads left a lot to be desired as well. I know the original owners sold the place, so I hope the new owners take note. You need to improve on your East Coast Grinder. Very disappointed ☹️!
