Restaurant is located In downtown SLO so very little town with a few main streets with restaurants, bars and shops. Since I was on a business trip it was dinner for 1 and got. table quickly. Food was really tasty but service was not the best. They were very busy so I tried to be a little more understanding.Pad see ew was really tasty and nice sized portions. I ordered it with shrimp and they were pretty generous. Also ordered the cream cheese wontons as an appetizer probably the best ones I’ve had in awhile. They were crispy not oily and had a good amount of filling

Worst meal ever! It's a shame because they used to be my favorite in town. Not only was the food not good, some of the dishes were also VERY strange - who puts quartered chucks of tomato in Fried Rice!Service-wise, other oddities include the server firmly arguing that all tofu has wheat in it (we're long time gluten-free so know that's not the case, but he insisted we not order any tofu dishes). Then when trying to leave, it took four attempts before they reluctantly gave me too few to-go boxes for my meager leftovers. Those four staff then hovered at the table watching me box things up, not lifting a finger to help even when I asked. It's quite a sad day indeed when I'd be 100 times happier with something from the freezer isle than to visit Thai Palace again!

Fantastic food at reasonable prices, with a good sized menu. Very accommodating alongside stellar customer service.

I totally recommend the restaurant! I'm not joking when I say that every item on the menu looks worth trying! Sticky rice with mangos, yum!

Good ambience. Friendly staff. Good food. Decent options for vegetarians. Service staff made good recommendations. Ambience is good for business as well as families.

Flavorless specifically lacking spice.

Food was quite bland. Ambience and service were very good. Quality of food was good but not flavourful.

Delicious curries and fast service at good prices! My party of 2 was seated right away when we walked in on a Saturday night, and after ordering, our food was served in less than 10 minutes. Don't worry, there's lots of time to peruse the menu, and just as much to talk after the meal. The interior has a buzz of conversation and is nicely appointed with good lighting, and there's patio seating with heaters too. The dishes are just the right size to satisfy for a normal meal, and they have the perfect amount of meat and veggies. The spice scale is rather gentle: "spicy" was what I expected for "medium" (think spicy chicken nuggets at a fast food joint). The "extra spicy" option has a disclaimer but I would have gone for it to begin approaching runny-nose territory. Expect $21/person after tip (add more for fancier meat options, drinks, or appetizers).

The food at Thai Palace was delicious and the items on the menu appealed to everyone in our party (spanning over all ages). Many vegetarian options, and all were delicious ?

Was alright. Black pepper sauce soba noodles lacked flavor depth and any pepper taste. Some “umami” taste from soy sauce or oyster sauce but also expensive for serving size, vegetables were cooked to a good texture but still sort of bland in tastes. I expected something with more spice, depth, and layering of flavors.
