Stopped by for lunch as we were passing through SLO. The mix and match option is clever. We were seated immediately, outside under their tents in the parking lot. Service was spotty, but they were packed and we weren't in a rush. The sweet potato fries were amazing! The sauce that accompanied it was to die for, it was a massive portion and well priced. As for the mix and match portion, we got the: Gouda burger, fancy pants burger, and mac and cheese with cheddar and BBQ pulled pork. The Gouda was hands down the best and came highly recommended - it didn't disappoint. The fancy pants burger was mediocre. What did disappoint was the mac and cheese - the top was hot but the bottom of the cup was cold. I don't know how they prepare it, but the temp difference was off putting. For that, I'm giving it 4 stars.

This place very pleasantly surprised me. I hosted a work event here for 32 people and the staff really made us feel prioritized. The food was outstanding -very sufficient portions! Everyone gave me credit for picking a solid location. I was hoping for good, but I really think they delivered great!

Excellent entree salads! We had the Cowboy Cobb with Salmon and it was Delicious! The seared marinated tomatoes were a great addition. Portion was large and ingredients were well balanced and the presentation was beautiful! Definitely will come back here.

Whatever you do, don’t get their sliders unless you want a broken tooth! The bread is seriously ROCK hard! And don’t expect help for managers to help with your tooth or help you solve that problem because you won’t get it. The amount of times I got ignored after I told what happened was ridiculous! My friends couldn’t even eat their food because the bread was like a rock, luckily I was the only one with a broken tooth. Safe to say I won’t be back there! Had to cancel all my plans! Hopefully my next Paso trip won’t include a broken tooth from a restaurants hard bread.

Wonderful choice for lunch - tons of options and the ability to mix and match sliders, Mac & cheese, Brussels sprouts, and salad. My daughter put it best “if you are hungry but don’t know what you want, come here!!” The slider combinations are fantastic, but you can also put together your own combos. Our server Jackson was great. He was so friendly and helpful with delicious recommendations. Lots of local drink options. We loved our time in SLO and Taste was definitely a highlight!

Must try winter truffle Brussel sprouts, we ate veggie sliders and they were okay, lacking some flavor but if I’m back here, will get a whole portion of Brussels sprouts

So many options. I got trio and chose a blue burger slider, French Brussel sprouts and the Mac and cheese. Let me start by saying these Brussels sprouts were the best thing I ate. Perfectly cooked with some crunch and very flavorful with the balsamic. Mac and cheese was good maybe my combo of cheeses wasn’t the best since the feta cheese was burnt on top. Was somewhat disappointed by the slider though. The bread was not soft and the ciabatta bread just overwhelmed the small patty. Oh and share some truffle fries, these were so good too.Staff was super friendly and service prompt. They had lots of outdoor seating and for a Monday lunch it was super busy.

Visited over the weekend to try something local that was not downtown, and what a pleasant choice! We were seated promptly, and the staff was super friendly. We ordered a trio and a duo with some beers. The trio was the BLT slider, another slider, and sweet potato fries. The duo was the California cowboy cobb and the benny burger. The food was delicious! The Chipotle aioli had a nice lil kick! Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating and price was not bad!

This is our 3rd time coming here. We enjoy the variety on the menu and the food is usually really delicious. We brought a friend with us this last time so she could experience the great food. It was busier than usual but we still got seated quickly. Our waitress seemed like she distracted and didn't want to be there. She wasn't as cheery and friendly as were used to.Our burgers were under cooked and chicken was kind of dry. When we brought it to the attention of the waitress it seemed like her attitude changed. She was more attentive and cheery. She offered to get us another menu item and comp'd our dessert. If the food wasn't so tasty, the over done chicken would have been sent back. We love this place and will definitely be back because prior experience was awesome!!

Had dinner @ TASTE tonight with 2 friends. The service was very good , we had a wonderful waiter. The food was poor. My friends tri tip slider had 2 tiny strips of meat , very well done & dry.Had to send back anyway as they forgot to leave out the jalapeño’s. My other friend had the same slidertri tip also minimal meat but she did have the pulled pork slider & it was very good. I had the lamb burger slider , mostly lettuce & a tiny extremely thick piece of lamb, the size of a 50 cent piece & maybe 1/8 th of an inch thin, very disappointing. I also had Mac n cheese & picked the cheddar cheese. Had two bites & it tasted sour, my friend tried & she spit it out……..didn’t eat anymore. So basically I had no dinner.Ordered the pumpkin cheese cake which they make there. It was round like a tart, no pumpkin taste, tasteless & weird tasting whip cream. All in all extremely disappointing!!!!!!I was there once before & had the Brie cheese plate & the Brie was quite big & delicious!!!!!!
