Excellent Mexican food, served promptly and accurately, made from scratch with fresh ingredients. Impressive salsa bar. Very courteous and attentive staff. Recommended.
3/29/22 Tuesday. Chicken Chipotle burrito was super delicious, also salsa, chips were very good. Interior was looking nice. I will try more menu items next visit.
Honestly don’t believe the negative reviews. Taco King to me is one of my favorite places to eat in town. Always extremely friendly and their food has amazing flavors. The Chipotle Beef plate is amazing. 5 stars all the way.
Great meals with substantial portions and a large menu! Dishes ranges from $12 (large burritos and all-day breakfast plates) to $17 (combo plates). Most plates come with rice and beans too, and tables get chips and salsa. Service is good and the atmosphere is nice too.

This is our favorite spot for Mexican food. Delicious, fun atmosphere, and friendly staff. Their wine margaritas are surprisingly yummy (and dangerous).
Wow. Love everything about this place. The employee spent the time going over their best dishes, and I settled on the King Burrito. Did not disappoint. HUGE! And delicious. Love the ambiance and vibe as well. Definitely coming back.
New favorite Mexican restaurant in slo. Decorations are awesome, they had birds outside when I went which enhanced the experience by at least 10%. Food was awesome and there was more than enough. Staff was cool and chatted with us a bunch. All around great experience
It's mostly geared towards a sit down restaurant. The two time I've been there the burrito and torta where very good. The torta was excellent.
