The worst customer service ever. The guy at the counter had such a negative attitude and expression on his face. He got irritated when we asked some questions. He wouldn't even answer what their best seller for rolls are. He said they do not have. We couldn't take the negativity so we just walked out. He doesn't deserve to be working in hospitality at all. If the manager or owner wants to know who he is. We just left. Today is Saturday, February 26. We were there around at 5:20 PM.

Food is good and they are happy to make changes as needed (sauce on the side, hold this, add that, etc.) Good prices and offer indoor, outdoor and take away dining. Rice/teriyaki bowls, noodle bowls, sushi.

Best tasting sushi, tempura and noodles than the highest rated Japanese restaurant in SLO. Bravo, no reservations, no parking problems and no waiting for 40 + minutes to be served

I know there’s one in pismo but when I get the chance and time I’d rather drive here. Always delicious. My favorite place ever.

Owner was very rude, I was just asking nicely something about our order and he got mad and started yelling. Wow..I'm surprised by this kind of attitude and run a business. The sushi was not good at all! I think they're pre made and not fresh, the rice was dry. Not coming back for sure!

Very bad experience. Poor service and very, very unclean. We watched the gentleman in front of us pay with a credit card which he handed to the cashier. The cashier then took our order and credit card by hand. My wife watched him make our sushi while never washing his hands. We almost walked out and not to eat our order. We did and watched the same man clean tables with a garbage can in one hand. This was happening and this guy didn't wash his hands one time. I am calling the health department. We are in an epidemic and the health of their customers doesn't seem to be a concern.

Terrible service. If you ask questions about their menu even if there is no one behind you they are rude and impatient. They do not like answering questions and try to rush you while you're there. I've been here several times because my fiance likes the food here, so this rating is based on several visits. The food is not the issue its customer service which needs improvement. They also failed to complete one of my orders and when I called for a refund (pick up order) they were again rude said I would get a refund and proceeded not to give me my money back for the missing items.Again the food itself is not the issue as it's pretty good. Food price is okay. Cleanliness is okay.

I used to love this place but I ate there this evening, ordered a rainbow roll and the fish on top was warm which made me wonder if it had been refrigerated at the correct temperature. The rice was warm as well so it could have been because if using warm rice to make the sushi. Either way it was very unappetizing and made me wonder if the fish was fresh. The person that took my order was a little rude and didnt get part of the order correct so I was waiting for an order of freshwater eel sushi as well that he insisted I never ordered. Not sure if I will be back.

I understand that the restaurant closes at 8pm but if you're calling in a order for pick up. The 1st thing they say is you can place an order only if you're going to be there in 10min. The guy on the other end is so rude. He has really bad customer service.

Huge rolls, decent flavor but fish is kind of mushy in texture and doesnt seem the freshest. But the vibe of the place is not high-end either, so I would say I got what I expected for the type of joint it is. A bit overpriced for not super quality, though pretty tasty rolls. I'd come back if looking for quick sushi
