Lovely spot, delicious coffee!! The staff was awesome and engaging with just the right amount of friendly conversation and customer service. Perfect coffee stop on the lovely coastal drive from Monterey to San Diego.
Nice coffee shop with a young vibe. Plenty of parking here. Bakery items are very fresh. The music is soft so conversations aren't at shouting levels. I recommend getting your morning experience here!

Great macchiato great bacon and cheddar scones. Foothills is extremely noisy, the chairs are laid back for slouching or hard metal. So not very comfy for afternoon coffee with a friend. Btw I feel like it's just a bit pricey for so much noise.
I love the look and feel of scout coffee but the coffee itself has been hit or miss. If you are looking for great ambiance to sit and chat with a friend, highly recommend.More specifically on the coffee-they make their own syrups that are not sweet enough for my taste, maybe I just need to ask for extra step. I don't know
This is a super nice coffee shop with relaxing vibes and delicious coffee. I tried large hot americano and it comes with 4 shots of espresso. Creme was super deep and thick. Great flavor came out from this basic espresso coffee and it was at proper hot temperature. Decor is nice and they sell gift items and coffee related accessories and their brand merchandise. Since this outlet is close by the university, most were students studying or watching videos and playing music.
Scout has lots of charm and potential.I ordered the matcha latte that supposedly has honey and lavender in it. There was insufficient lavender in the beverage.The wifi is very spotty, I had to relocate to the Starbucks across the intersection to get my work done because they have a stronger signal.The ambiance, decorations and furniture are all lovely, the shop even has a bespoke general store with unique offerings.The music playing is a bit too loud, I think more instrumental music would make for a better auditory experience.I visited at 10:30 am on a Monday and found Scout to have a bustling vibe like a bar during happy hour. I'm sure this coffee shop is the perfect environment for some, however I couldn't stay due to the noise volume and weak wifi signal.Will try this coffee shop again, eventually.
Great coffee. great space! There are a lot of tables and seating inside and some outside! They also have really good service here.
