I ordered a Christmas gift basket from their online shop on the 18th of December for delivery to a local address. There was zero communication from Park 1039 about the order and the gift was never sent. A follow-up email from me after Christmas inquiring about the order resulted in the order being cancelled. Park 1039 never apologized via email for not fulfilling the order and resulting in me having to scramble after Christmas to figure out an alternative. They might be great in person, but their online presence needs to be managed and monitored.
Lovely discovery while visiting SLO for a few days! The food was great, the wine suggestions were great. The place is small and cute and the serves give you great service. If we ever are back in SLO, we will visit this place again. Thank you for the great night!
We’ve been here 3 times— once for lunch, dinner and a happy hour— and each visit has been incredible! The owner, Steven, has curated an incredible experience with a top-notch staff. The food is some of the best in SLO, the wine options extensive and unique. Exactly what SLO needed!

The nicest people at this special spot in the heart of SLO welcomed us with friendly greetings and the freshest of farm to table choices for an impromptu lunch before heading out of town on our journey along the coast. I had the San Luis bowl with kale, quinoa, sweet potatoes and avocado (and more-all from the farmers market the evening prior )-My husband had their delicious BLAT. Presentation was wonderful in beautiful handmade ceramic bowls and wine glasses. The wines were wonderful and change frequently with menu options. Thank you for a wonderful meal!
As a cheese shop, this place is top notch. Didn't have a meal there, but bought a bunch of totally unique cheeses from a lovely person who really knew about cheese. Very educated staff, totally cute place.
The best little restaurant in Paso Robles. What a pleasure to have lunch there. The choices are all exquisite and hand-picked. Wine offerings from 60 different countries.The cheese selection puts France to shame! Sarah the cheesemonger is a cheese aficionado I should have her own TV show.
An absolutely lovely setting with a staff that obviously loves what they do! The food and wine menus are well thought out and absolutely delicious. Great cheese selection, too! What a wonderful addition to to SLOTown! Can’t wait to go back.
