Old SLO BBQ was our wedding caterer on 4.14.22 and they were amazing from start to finish! We came into the restaurant for a wedding tasting and fell in love with the food and we knew we were in great hands with Kevin! He answered all of our questions and always responded to calls and emails quickly! The food turned out perfectly and Kevin & his team were so accommodating and went above and beyond on wedding day- even helping clear plates & cleaning up!! We requested left overs for my husband and I in our bridal suite because we had been warned bride and groom don’t get to each much at the wedding because of all the talking! When we got up to the room later there were 2 to-go boxes made for us and tons of leftovers!! We had sooo many compliments on the food and staff. What a great business and team! Thank you so much! We will continue to recommend you to all our friends! -Dalton and Skylar Nettleton
Good customer service when ordering. My husband enjoyed his tr tip sandwich. For myself , well... everything went down hill after ordering. Almost all of the tables had food left on them from previous customers. I had to wipe down my own table. I ordered the tri tip plate. The tri tip was extremely pink, and very hard to chew through. The BBQ sauce they give you is cold. Very disappointed in my meal. The corn pie was so so and cold. However the garlic bread was excellent aside from also being cold.
Best tri tip sandwich in town. Great shakes. Sweet potato fries and cilantro garlic bbq sauce
The Tri-tip was perfect, however, the beans were weird and not even close to traditional. The chicken was tender but bland, and had zero flavor. The bread was also cooked very well, but had no flavor. But most of all of was the attitude of the staff. Very short and in a hurry to get your order for no reason, which they got wrong because of the aforementioned rush. I wouldn't come back here.
Less than half the taps had beer & the ones I was able to try were all foam. I know how to pour beer, btw. Don't go here for the beer on tap!!
Warning. People from Texas, Kansas or Oklahoma. Tri-tip is nothing like beef brisket cooked low and slow. It is more of a roast or steak that is grilled, and lacking in smoke flavor. If you like steak sandwiches, then it is good. Great drink selection.
Friendly, Very efficient, indoor and outdoor seating. Great quality food!
Suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuper slow at getting food out, overly burnt garlic bread, and dry a$$ chicken.. Not great.
Pretty good food..good people fair prices.
Ive ordered food from their catering menu for work meetings/lunches and it has always been a hit.
