Good works deserves good recommendation,
I get the pulled pork sandwhich here all the time and the corn pie. It is excellent. A bit pricey but that is the case everywhere these days. Well worth it though. I have also had the strawberry greens salad with chicken and that is excellent too. Try this place out and judge for yourself. IF the food were that mediocre, then why is it always so busy at lunch time?
Warning. People from Texas, Kansas or Oklahoma. Tri-tip is nothing like beef brisket cooked low and slow. It is more of a roast or steak that is grilled, and lacking in smoke flavor. If you like steak sandwiches, then it is good. Great drink selection.
NEVER FAILS. I swear I have never had a bad sandwich from here. If I am craving good BBQ, this place always does the trick. I feel like the food always comes out fast, but it is always so dang fresh. Top 3 favorite BBQ places in the world!
I had a delivery from here while staying at a local hotel. The food was mediocre, not terrible, but not great. I had the tri tip plate. The meat was on the rare side, very rare, with very mild flavor. The portion size was rather small compared to the price. The garlic bread had an odd flavor and I’m not sure I actually liked it. I ordered on line and I didn’t see anywhere to specify a salad dressing, (if it was there, it wasn’t obvious), so I assumed it would come dressed. I was wrong. The salad arrived with nothing on it and nothing provided on the side. Basically, it was just plain lettuce. By having it delivered I had no recourse for additional barbeque sauce or salad dressing.
The tri tip is cooked perfectly every time! Try the tri tip sandwich on the sourdough!
By far the best barbecue in San Luis Obispo County!
The food here is amazing! The Tri tip Sandwich is on point. The tap wall is amazing too! So many choices and no one staring at you waiting for you to make a decision lol.
