Great local cafe with the perfect atmosphere for writers. I try to swing by for an hour or so after my longsword practice on Sundays to get some work done on my books in progress. I highly recommend their chai lattes and double chocolate muffins.
I discovered this coffee shop recently, and Im happy I did. The coffee is much smoother than the bitter stuff at the "other place" and they also let you pour your own cream, which is important to me, and something that the baristas at the other place never get right. Its also got a lot of room to sit, and tons of cool art. The staff are friendly too!
I thought I ordered a "Chinese chicken salad wrap" the complete lack of anything green made it feel more like a burrito. It was good just not what I expected. I wish they had beer!
I got a vanilla latte from here which was decent but it definitely tasted more like artificial syrup. I wouldnt expect fancy latte art. I like the atmosphere and how colorful the coffee shop is but in my opinion, I wouldn't specifically crave the espresso here. It also took quite a while for my latte to be finished. However, a large is $5.50 so I really can't complain. I would stop here just for quick drip coffee or to chat with friends.
Stopped here to get coffee while on a road trip. What a find! I love the 80’s TV/movie/video game nostalgia. Reminds me of my childhood. Makes me wish I lived in SLO just so I could come here to get coffee and hang out. The foods looks good, but I only got a cold brew. I’m picky and it was perfect. Very mellow and smooth, just how a cold brew should be.
Had a hot mocha, it was pretty good. Nice big place with lots of indoor seating. Good wifi and lots of outlets. This is a pretty popular place. ?
I ordered moms eggs and wanted a black tea. No black tea so settled for a green tea. Ordered honey and lemon. It came with the lemon and honey already in it. I prefer to “dress” my own. The lemon over powered the rest of it. The eggs were cold mixed in with warm veggies. (Like they were ore-made and thrown in with the veggies) The taste was good but would have liked the eggs freshly made with the veggies and some salt and pepper to be brought out. Overall, I’d eat here again but specify I like to make my own tea.
Just give me all the yummy coffee and foods here ! The staff is always friendly and the decor is rad ! Definitely great little spot to stop in !
The blue berry scone was missing the blue berry flavor. It was too moist for a scone. Just didn’t love the wrap. My fault not theirs. Grill veggies I assumed was an assortment of grilled veggies. Turns out it’s peppers and onions … when you have the eggs and avocado removed you just don’t have much to work with. Next time I will ask. #allergygirl was disappointed!
