This was such a great experience after a full day of driving down Big Sur. We enjoyed the creative drinks and delicious wine with the grilled octopus appetizer. We also were so shocked that the pasta was all handmade, truly so fresh and delicious. Our server was also very helpful, attentive and perfectly paced. Couldn't recommend it more! The interior is beautifully designed, I loved all the green everywhere- definitely instagrammable. Every single person's meal was delicious here, so there's really not one I can point out above the rest. Our table of four split a caesar salad, and it was the perfect amount and light fresh starter to the experience.

Love Nate's. Everyone that works there demonstrates excellent customer service. Every menu item we have tried has been absolutely delicious on every level. I love the vibe, the food and the people which is why we will keep coming back.

I've visited Nate's 4 times now and feel a review is due. 3 of the 4 visits were just walk-in and had short waits for a table. The bar has about 6 seats but the walkway doubles as a corridor for servers so the area can get sort of jammed up. This is not a slight, but a heads up to expect it. On our 4th visit we actually had a reservation, but ended up waiting 35 minutes for our table but enjoyed a bottle of wine at the bar.Our food items each time have delicious and well prepared. Some of them I've liked more than others, but I'm still making my way through the menu. My favorite appetizer so far has been the large ravioli. I believe it was a special. Also, the wine list is pretty big and there's lots to choose from! The menus are online if you want to get a sense of what they're currently offering. Pricing is there as well. Definitely visiting again.

Had dinner with my parents from out of town. It was incredible! The host, who is also the owner, was super attentive and not only did he seat us, but checked in several times throughout the dinner. The staff was amazing, super knowledgeable about the menu and very helpful, Sam was a great server and James the busser was super kind and very attentive. Wonderful experience, best service I've had in SLO hands down. They brought fresh focaccia and riccotta with oil for the table, it was melt in your mouth delectable. We ordered two starters, the prawns, which were huge and delicious, and the meatball starter, which was absolutely killer. We shared it with three of us and it was more than enough, but also so delicious I kind of wish I had ordered a meatball for myself because it was that good. I had the Cacio e Pepe, it was so creamy and delicious, not huge, but perfect portion. Basically it's quality over quantity. Mom ordered the spaghetti pesto (sooooo good!) and dad had the porkchop (super tender), also totally banging. And the drinks were steller! I was so full at the end of the night, but everything was so good I could've ordered more without regret - but I finished with an espresso martini and it was a perfect end to the meal. A must dine! ? 10/10 recommend.

Some of the best pasta I've had in years. Food and wine were great and so was the service. Plus the venue is like dinning at the mayors house in SLO in the 1890's. Can't wait to eat here again.

Intimate dining either inside or outside on the heated patio overlooking Marsh street. We went to celebrate my birthday, though they don't comp birthdsy deserts. My Parppadelle Ragu dish was good, could had a little more lamb, but my wife's Lobster Scampi was very tough and chewy, a little disappointing. Risotto with trumpet mushrooms was very good. Good selection of wine & cocktails. Nice to have locally sourced ingredients.

Thanks Nate for an amazing date night. My wife I enjoyed some fancy cocktails at the bar (don’t miss the bar) then moved into the dining room for the famous meatball dinner. Some friends referred us here and it didn’t disappoint. Great spot for a date night

One of the best restaurants in slo! Amazing food, great ambiance, and great price point. The staff is lovely and Nate, the owner is the best.Definitely a place I look forward to coming back to when I visit the Central Coast

Very crowded, however we were quickly seated at the bar. Good bar service given the crowd. Nice food, some very original recipes. Good size portions, not really large. Very slow food service, perhaps because of the extremely large crowd of customers. Nice surroundings but quite loud, again because virtually every single table was full. A limited menu but every thing we ordered was very good.

This is a wonderful new restaurant in SLO. We had an excellent meal recently The pork chops were some of the best I ever had. The service was superb. I would highly recommend this new addition to the SLO culinary scene. Enjoy
