This is the best cafe in downtown SLO! This cafe has it all; Amazing lattes; Tasty food and pastries; A lovely garden in the back; Considerate and wonderful staff; Overall wonderful ambiance and vibes! I’m personally quite particular with how the milk in my lattes is steamed, and they get it every single time! Trust me, whether you’re grabbing a quick drink, need a new cafe to study at, or just want somewhere in downtown where you can unplug with a bite, you won’t leave Linnaea’s disappointed!
After I tossed my bad latte from another shop, I strolled over the Linnaea’s Cafe for another try at breakfast. I ordered a latte(of course) along with a coffee cake. The coffee cake was very well made and seemed like the ingredients were focused on healthy rather than sugary, which made for a great meal. Apparently, they make great eggs here but I didn’t order any since I wasn’t that hungry.I sat in front where there is a window looking over the sidewalk though there is seating in back as well. Also, the building is old and they maintained much of the architectural feel inside the shop. I wish they had more buildings like this in Walnut Creek.Next time I’ll give I’ll stop in for lunch. It’s definitely a great cafe.
The place looks nice, especially the backyard sitting area but the coffee ($3) was horrible, it tasted like the coffee I was brewing several time when I was a student. I couldn’t finish it.Pastries were ok, they don’t warm them for us though.Also the place could use some cleaning.
Very cute little cafe…unique muffin options…small menu but everything prepared really well..
This is the best place for a relaxing coffee experience. The coffee is great and the muffins/pasties are fantastic. Expect a very low key environment.
Very chill little spot to spend your morning. The coffee itself was good, nothing amazing but not a let down either. The espresso egg plate was kind of bland. Pumpkin bread with chai icing was very good tho!
A cute little cafe with a back patio that is like a garden sheltered from the rest of the downtown area. You wouldn't know it existed if you never went. There are pastries and a few of good food items and a ton of different coffee/tea options. Great location for dates, studying, or just standard relaxation.
Absolutely love this adorable cafe! All of the baristas are so sweet. I come in almost once a week just for the amazing muffins and addicting coffee cake!! The best small business in downtown slo❤️
Tasty food and good food, The staff was not very caring, they were very rough and demanding tips.
