Estimated delivery time said 20-30 minutes but we didn’t get our delivery for over an hour. The cookies are highly overrated as well. Very little actual flavor and way overly sweet to compensate. You’d honestly be better off getting frozen dough from the store.
Insomnia has a delicious rotating variety of cookies, my favorite thing currently is the ginger cookies and some cookie butter.I recommend it to any and all night owl's.They also have delicious vegan cookies ?.
Cookies are delicious and so was the brownie. I personally don't use cash often, but not having the option for customers to pay with cash seems pointless when the employees are wearing gloves. The employees (understandably to some extent being so late) were not the friendliest, but were to the point and did their jobs good.
Clerk made first visit awkward and uncomfortable. Not friendly, do not visit.

It’s hard not being able to be there when my dad is in pain, but it’s so nice to be able to have warm chocolate chip cookies delivered to him in my place! Thank you - he mumbled that they’re delicious (his mouth was full of cookies)
The cookies are awesome & I’m super happy they have gluten free options. This is bc of celiac and not by choice being gluten free. The staff working here on this particular shift (girl &guy) definitely ruined my experience here. As soon as we walked in they went in the back. When I asked about gluten free the girl didn’t even know what gluten was. I would recommend informing your employees on all the products that you sell and what they are. After check out the girl was super rude and not welcoming at all. Overall the cookies are great but my experience sucked.
Insomnia is a classist business. They only accept privileged kids with Mommy and Daddy's credit card. I am a hard working American that got in debt with the state and that does not allow me to have a bank account while I pay it off. This means I carry cash a lot. I took my kids in for ice cream sandwiches and was told no, that they did not accept cash. Hey insomnia cookies we don't all have credit cards, please get off your high horse and accept cash like the rest of the planet.
This is a place we must visit whenever we are in the SLO/central coast area. Yummy cookies and an amazing variety for my vegan loving children. They had 4 different vegan flavors and a bunch for us other folks. A little pricey but well worth it as an every now and then treat! Go and enjoy!
