Stayed here overnight on a business trip. The Granada turned out to be charming and perfect. Quiet room, nice snack and bev offerings in the room at very fair prices, good breakfast with indoor or outdoor areas, great parking on the property, and one of the nicest bars you'll find anywhere for a nightcap. We usually stay at Pismo Beach, but next time we're going to take a day or two at the Granada in SLO itself and explore the record, book and even photography stores downtown.
This hotel is an absolute gem! Dripping in art and good taste, with high end touches, it was a treat to stay at the Granada Hotel. Everything from the bedding, towels, and even soaps and lotions made the stay luxurious. The staff lives up to the SLO reputation and were beyond helpful and responsive. We felt seen and cared for our whole stay. And can I mention the croissants with the continental breakfast...delicious! My boyfriend and I were doing a week trip down the California coast and stopped at some of the best hotels, The Ritz in Santa Barbara, The Huntley in Santa Monica, and Surf and Sand in Laguna Beach, and I have to say that Granada was my favorite.
We stayed two nights while visiting family in SLO. Such a beautiful place. The location was perfect to walk around and explore the downtown area. The rooms were incredibly clean with high end amenities. The breakfast pastries are worth coming back all by themselves. The staff was attentive, friendly, and accommodating. We are at the Bistro and had an incredible meal with great service. We will most definitely be back.
We loved our stay at Hotel Granada. The hotel was beautiful and very clean. We were treated very well and everything was done in a timely manner. We were even gifted a bottle of champagne because our room took a few extra minutes to get ready. We loved everything about our stay and hope to revisit again!
Very clean, great service, very cozy, and awesome outdoor patio with phenomenal cocktails from the restaurant on the second floor for guests plus very good security procedures in the evening for safety. Best hotel in slo
A fabulously bohemian place with friendly staff and great food. We will most definitely be back!!
It's been years since we've dined at the bistro, but we decided to try it again. The food was fantastic, the drinks were delicious and the service was excellent. Definitely back on the list.
The Granada Hotel &Bristol was amazing, the location couldn't be better every attraction is within walking distance. The room we stayed at was clean and cozy, the bed was so comfortable.Hotel staff morning and evening was amazing, really attentive to our every need making us feel welcome.Had amazing stories about this historic place. We will definitely be back!We recommend this place!
If I could rate this place with a negative rating I would. Do not attempt to return to your room after 11pm or you will be locked out and out of a place to sleep. I endured a run around to return to my room on several occasions before being completely locked out... all before 11pm. If you're wanting to explore downtown slo, avoid this garbage can on a hotel
I recently stayed for 4 days/3 nights at the Granada Hotel and Bistro in San Luis Obispo. This is a charming boutique hotel located in the heart of the historic town of San Luis Obispo. My stay was wonderful. I was greeted by Braden when I checked in a he was very welcoming and helpful. All of the staff that I encountered here were the same - professional, friendly and helpful. My room was spacious with a fireplace which came in handy during the cool spring evenings. The amenities in the room were top notch. The decor had an attracive modern rustic vibe. It would have been nice to have a chest of drawers to put clothes away. But this is a minor matter. The bar at the Granada is really cool. The bartender shaves his own ice. A nice place to hang out after dinner. Also the croissants they served at breakfast were delicious! The location of the hotel is fantastic. It is within walking distance to all the shops, restaurants and historic sites in the city. This is definitely a great place to spend a weekend get away.
