Best carbonara I’ve ever had. Fresh pasta (they make it fresh every morning at 4:00 am). When I took my first bite, I could tell the pasta was freshly made. Plentiful chunks of pancetta, but not overly so. The sauce was pure comfort. Caesar had anchovy dressing—a must for Caesar. And the dipping for the bread was the best dipping I’ve had. Portion sizes were perfect. I was able to enjoy my salad and still have room for my pasta. I live 2 hours away, but I will make a trip just to visit Giuseppe’s. Ambience is great. White table cloths, but doesn’t feel pretentious. Great staff. Oh, and the dessert, gelato, and deli cases!

Friendly service and delicious food. Nice environment.

One of the best, authentic Italian food restaurant. The servers are friendly, courteous and knowledgeable. The atmosphere is enjoyable. I tried the tortellini, the meatball sandwich and the lasagna and they were all excellent.

The food here is literally so good we came to eat here two times in one day. Once for lunch and once for dinner. The chicken piccata salad was an incredible lunch item. It was so delicious and so filling. For dinner, the tortellini Giuseppe is amazing. It really hits the spot! And of course, the sorbet and all the desserts they have are incredible. I really love their crème brûlée!

What a gem. When all 3 of you order the same dish (Capesante E Gamberi) and none of you left a morsel of food, you know they have created magic. The house made pasta is cooked to perfection as were the shrimp and scallops, perfectly finished with vodka cream. Cannolis were off the chart, light, flaky, cinnamon delights.

I loved my clam chowder I was glad I had that as an entree. It could have been a tad warmer. Stir then temp people.Lots of good bread. Service was fine. I heard the lunch ribeye was good from a man and his dog. Apparently they ate there a lot☺️So how could you go wrong.... ?

Our experience was lackluster compared to expectations. The hostesses and wait staff were not very professional. They were friendly, but didn't take their job seriously. They spilled water on my pizza and didn't seem to know what they were doing. The food: The sauce was ok, not exceptional. My pizza was soggy, but otherwise good. The fried calamari was good. Spaghetti noodles were very thick. Not a favorite for our family. The food wasn't horrible, but not quite good enough. We will not be eating here next time we are in town.

Fun, lively atmosphere! Great food and knowledgeable server about celiac needs. Katia was awesome. I had the carbonara with GF pasta and she suggested adding peas. She assured me the pasta would be cooked in separate water. It was delicious and I had no issues. I rarely eat GF pasta because of the texture, theirs is spot on. Loved ❤️ My daughter enjoyed her tortellini and cannoli. Staff was very friendly and accommodating, excluding the host.

Passed through SLO and stopped here on a friend's recommendation. Definitely met the high expectations we had. The food was absolutely fantastic. The pizza had a thinner crust and had excellent flavor. The pasta was thinner and had great texture. The sauce was amazing. We had two great servers who were really friendly and helpful.

I absolutely LOVE the bread and garlic parmesan and oil dish they start your with! This time I had the butternut squash ravioli and Parmesan sauce, soooo good. Started with the Caesar salad which had no flavor and the croutons on it were flavorless. I won't order this salad again.Still, I say this is a must restaurant to try!!!
