I walked in at 7:15 PM and the place was empty. I should have just left. This place is outrageously expensive and the food is just average. There is only counter service and it's totally lame.My chicken parmesan was served a little above room temperature...a small piece of thinly breaded chicken breast with an even thinner slice of provolone cheese left me totally unsatisfied. The pasta was a little overdone and the sauce was nothing special. It was served with a salad and garlic bread to justify the price--$18.45 before tax. My salad was the star of the show. It was cold and crisp and the ceaser dressing was decent. I left still feeling hungry and I'm not likely to come back to this place.
Our Red Hat group celebrated a post-covid luncheon at Gino's San Luis Obispo restaurant recently. There were eight of us and everyone ordered a different dish, All reported their food was freshly made and generous, it was tasty and the service personal and attentive. We all loved it. It is on our list of favorites and happily will be back!
Best pizza I've had in a while, and possibly my favorite lunch/dinner my buddy and I had on our central coast trip. We came up from Oxnard and stayed in Pismo and SLO each for one night, and easily one of the best moments was eating at your restaurant! Great setting too.
Great old school pizza joint that offers take out or dine in service. Staff is very friendly and the pizza is delicious. I like their ranch dressing too which can be hit or miss at most places. Kids had spaghetti and meatballs which they enjoyed. We'll definitely come back the next time we're in town.
Really solid pizza spot, all pizza spots in SLO have their own unique flavors and doughs, and Ginos totally has an edge over some. Their crust is really nice, really good size. Their salads taste really green and fresh, providing a good fill even if you don’t order a pizza. really good atmosphere all around, will come again for sure!!
Bomb. Gino's special and spicy Mexican, highly recommend. Chicken wings taste fresh. Cheesy garlic bread is a good appetizer.
This Place makes the best pizza! They make a delicious Gluten Fee pizza!! Games for you & kiddos to play. We are going to try the calzones next time! Thank you ?
3 friends and I dined in at the restaurant after participating in the Spartan BEAST obstacle race and we were starving I discovered the place the night before after getting in the following evening on Amtrak and doing a quick walk around of my the area. I discovered the restaurant by its delicious smells and made a decision to dine there after the race. We were not disappointed. The place was packed with many Spartan race participants making it busier than usual but busy seems to be a constant state for this restaurant. The food we ordered was fast and quite tasty. The staff very young but very professional and nice!????????
Good food but took a long time to get our whole order, 35 min for some lasagna and it wasn't busy.
Their pizza is really good, and for the wings they are also good except they only have one flavor.
