I have only been disappointed maybe 1 time out of 75. Solid food, quick service and great outdoor patio. They have plenty of TV’s and a bar for game days or chilling.They are known for their tritip sandwiches but I find their burgers and tacos ? bomb.The line goes really quick.
If you’re in downtown SLO go here!We would always hit up Firestone for a large order of fries and take sneak them into the Fremont ?back in the day. Because let’s be honest fries are better to eat during a movie. LolAnyway The Tri-Tip Sadwhich is great. Get it with an extra side of “Warm” sauce on the side.Oh and the Avocado Bacon Cheeseburger is great!The fries are great…when they are hot. Seasoning on them is a mix containing seasoning salt and sugar. Super good.The wait can be a little annoying when you see the line. The music can also be very noisy as this is a college town/ hangout. Also they aren’t taking phone orders anymore so you have to use the terrible “Grub” App whatever that is.
Really good food I had a cheese burger half n half basket of fries and onion ring's. Great Atmosphere I definitely recommend this place.
Stopped for a bite to eat and to try some beer in wine country. Beers were great. Ahi nachos disappointed as it had very little ahi. Chopped salad and tri tip sandwich were good. Another place to visit to break up wine tasting or if wine isn’t your thing.
Real American experience. It's a sport pub with a lot of screens where you can watch different games. The food is amazing and the prices reasonable. I really enjoyed this place !
3/22: When you are in SLO, the tri tip sandwich isa must! So where do you go with so many choices? I've tried 3 different places in the general area such as Ribline and Old SLO. My favorite is still Fiestone!Tri- tip sandwich- tender, juicy large chunks of tri tip. Moist and not dry. Amazing bbq sauce on roll makes it a delicious sandwich.Chicken tenders- Not bad but nothing special.Onion rings- crispy and fresh. Ready to be dipped in ranch sauce, ketchup or bbq sauce. Very reasonable prices!Service is quick and fast. Lines of people can build up really fast as well. Alcohol available. Lots of street parking available.Was driving back to the San Francisco Bay Area and needed to make a stop for one more tri tip sandwich. Already had two tri tip sandwiches on previous days. This is one of the best! The hot and tender meat. Generous portion of meat. Just a little bit of sauce and the nice French roll.
I have eaten here for over 20 years. The tri tip sandwich is still wonderful. OK selection of beer, the small size order of fries is plenty.
Firestone is an easy walk up and order style place. They have some of the best Tri-trip in the area. Great bar serving all the Firestone Brews on taps. Very reasonable prices and good efficient service. High recommend.
I think this will become one of my must stops going through SLO. Don't know about the rest of the menu but the tri tip sandwich (for which they are famous) was great. Although they have a lovely patio, I opted to take out. Once ordered it was two minutes for my order to come up. Ask for more sauce with your sandwich. They put a huge amount of meat in the sandwich and it is very tender. Yummy. Next time I will try something more on their menu.
