Tried the Birria burrito for the first time. It was good. The tortilla was crunchy, and it was stuffed. Came with a drink and side of chips. This location is on a great corner spot with easy parking.
No juice in beans. They were dried out and absolutely no flavor at all. Tortillas were hard as a rock and had to be thrown out. Salsa had NO flavor? The worst El Pollo Loco restaurant!
Really good value. We like the Birria Burrito box, Horchata, the Cilantro Dressing, and the Double Chicken Tostada salads.
This was my first time ever eating at Pollo Loco, and they did not disappoint! The staff were fast, friendly, extremely efficient! And to top it all off the chicken was absolutely delicious!! I will definitely be back here soon!!
I live in another state where there are no El Pollo Loco locations so I wanted to try this place since I miss their style of food. All employees were wearing face masks and they were very professional. The food was as I expected. They have taken measures to address the COVID pandemic, like no open salsa bar, and they ensure you get any condiments you may require when you pick up your food. This place is in a shopping center with ample parking. The only negative was that nearly all of the tables were dirty when I got there and I had been there quite a while and finished eating before an employee finally walked around wiping off some, but not all, of the tables. In light of the current pandemic, their table cleaning should be much more frequent.
The food is great and healthy, the prices are reasonable, and the staff are friendly. Why one star? NONE of the staff wore their mask over their nose. I told the cashier, in a very nice way, “I think your mask slipped off your nose”, to which she replied “I know”. She pulled it up and then, as soon as I had left, it went back under her nose. At this time, with Omicron infecting even those of us who are fully vaccinated, this disregard for public health is inexcusable.
An average El Pollo Loco. Nothing to differentiate from any other. That being said, the burritos are always good, especially for a fast food place
Something bad has happened to this El Pollo Loco. The last 5 orders have been bad with huge pieces of chicken skin and gristle populating the burrito. My favorite was the avocado chicken burrito but now its very hard to find the avocado and the chicken is dry and filled with inedible pieces. So sorry as I was so happy when they opened here. It used to be great.
I don't know if it's just me, but I just don't care for the place. The service was adequate and less then accommodating. Food is average and I believe got me a bit sick. I used to really enjoy el pollo loco but it's changes over the years. Or maybe I've changed
