Bear square pizzas: 6/5Piada bread: 6/5Feels like they always have something going on. I've seen them:- be closed on random days/nights (also, fyi, they're closed sunday and Monday)- limit the number of pizzas available to 20 per day- not serve anything except pizza- limit menu in a different way another timeI try to give then the benefit of the doubt because I know these are strange times. But I have definitely seen a lot of somewhat weird restaurant behavior here more than most places.With that said I keep going back because the food is so good
This will sound dramatic but this is the best pizza my husband and I have ever had. We had the wood fire ricotta and honey & the Detroit style sausage pepperoni and we moaned the entire time. This is reason enough to go. Worth also noting the service was amazing, attentive, & friendly. Sad we are not local to eat this weekly. JUST TRUST US & GO :)
Never had Detroit pizza or Piada bread before and now I am hooked. It was soo good we were practically licking the plate!! The staff was friendly and the outdoor seating area was also really nice! Wish I lived closer so I could go here more often!
I can’t say enough about how delicious the food is. We had a house salad that was to-die for (yes, even a salad can be amazing delicious) with veggies that were SO fresh. My daughter hates tomorrows but loved the grape tomatoes in this dish. Best gluten free pizza crust ever! The sauce on the pizza was also SO fresh abs tasty. Great atmosphere. Will definitely be back!
We've booked a place for the family, two adults and two kids. We first ordered the Piada Bread which wasn't that great, too doughty. Then we ordered 2 Margherita pizzas and 1 Veggie bear squares pizza - these were all great. The Veggie was the best one. Overall we've had a good experience.
Excrement pizza and service. Love the Bee Sting and the most delicious and spicy cauliflower salad.
Literally the best pizza I’ve ever had. Unbelievable. Wish I lived closer, but I’ll happily fly four hours and drive two another time to go back.
Let me start off by saying this was not my first choice since I wasn’t feeling pizza that night even though they got some great reviews. This spot was highly recommended so we gave it a shot and we were pleasantly surprised we did. They are limited on the number of Detroit style pizzas which is what we wanted to order. They make 20 a day. Lucky they had 1 left. It’s a 8x10 square pizza. The dough was light yet crisp and it was just so damn good.We ordered 2 more wood fire pizzas a margarita and the Ricotta & Honey (mozzarella, cream, garlic confit, red pepper flake, hot honey). This was uniquely amazing.Definitely another place that deserves a second or even third visit.
Best pizza on the central coast. Wish they were open sooner on the weekends. Must have the Bee Stang pizza!!!!
The food and staff here are 5 star, had the square pizza, it was very tasty and unique! I’ll def be going back whenever I’m in SLO.
