The raw oysters were delicious, but pricey. The tempura was 8/10. The fried chicken wings were also pricey ($9 for 4 tiny wings) but they were very good, as well. The yakitori was average. Unfortunately, while our server was very nice, she couldn't speak one word of English, so we could almost not communicate at all. I noticed some discrepancy on the bill that may have been a completely innocent mistake, but I couldn't even figure out how to bring it up and decided to just let it slide. We probably won't be back anytime soon but again, the food was good.
My favorite, favorite, favorite place for Japanese food and sushi. Dragon roll and spider roll are my favorite. Rice is always perfect. Udon and tonkatsu are excellent. Treat yourself to a great meal at great prices.
Very disappointing. Do not go here. I am filled with regret that I tried it. 0 stars.I love Japanese food... But this is not what I was served. The food was bland, expensive, and came in very small portions. That's a really bad combo. Add the slow service and you have a perfectly terrible experience.This place was empty. That was my first clue to not order food here. Still took them nearly half an hour to make 2 items that they said would be 15 minutes.Then, my food is practically flavorless. Tonkotsu ramen broth tasted like tap water. $25 for 5 gyoza, half a dozen cali rolls, and 6 pieces of tempura. All of it as bland as the broth. Stunningly bad food.If you like bland food, high prices, and small portions... You're the only one and this is the place for you. My guess is that this place will be out of business soon.Very bad place to go. Very disappointed.I will not return and I highly recommend avoiding this place. Don't waste your money. You'll regret it just like me.
Very fresh and delicious... Although I ordered online (a rather large order) at 4:15, it wasn't ready for 1.5 hours. Nonetheless, I will still come here, because the food is that good!
Nice quiet intimate restaurant. Food was hot and fresh. Wait staff was attentive with all requests especially delicious hot tea. Enjoyed the bento ? teriyaki salmon with tempura.
Been eating at restaurant since 1999, consistently good quality and fast service. The gentlemen who works the dining room always makes an eating in experience enjoyable and fun! He's awesome!
Absolutely incredible food. I got mine to go so didn't get to enjoy the ambience. But the fish was phenomenal. Got lots of nigiri a la carte. Delicious. Best sushi I've tried in the Bay Area honestly.
The service was subpar. The waitress was not attentive to the customers except the ones she was having a long conversation with. My dish was prepared like one I would expect from a Chinese restaurant. Not very hospitable. We won't be returning.
