On vacation and stumbled upon this unicorn! Great service, atmosphere, and the food was awesome! Worth a stop if you're in town!

Food was good. It’s a classic American diner. My waitress was warm and engaging. Glad I chose to come here.
The food is good. My husband had a avocado burger and I had a Reuben sandwich. We both had a chocolate malt milkshake. Should have ordered 1. An entire milkshake is too much for us.
DELISH DINER!Loved this place, reminds me much of Johnny Rockets, which isn’t around much anymore. However Mel’s shakes are to DIE FOR. My mouth is literally watering as I think of the strawberry shake I had.Food is also very fresh and fulfilling.Staff is friendly and always ALWAYS checking up on you. It is top notch service!
I like the one at 4th and mission in SF better, but this one was okay. The staff was nice, the fries were good, and so was the fish. I think I liked the ambience and the music a little better in the SF one. The music in this one was from the early '60s, but the music in the SF one was in the '40s and '50s. It might have had to do with the fact that when I went to the SF one, I met some sci-fi lovers, and enjoyed their conversation as well. Chuckle, smile.
.One of my girl friends & mine go to places for lunch. The menu is Good with great choices & the help is always happy to see you. If you get chance drop in & try the grilled ham & cheeseOr one of my other favorites is the patty melt. Give it a go you'll be glad you did.
Service was great, but the food was nasty. It was too hot, bland and the coleslaw had a sour like taste. The only good thing here was the fries. Will not be going back. I don't recommend this diner.
Food was excellent. I had a Turkey club and the girlfriend had a burger. We also split chili cheese fries. Portions are also very good!
