OSL does it again. Slice house is the premier pizzeria of not only the town but in my opinion, of the entire Bay Area. Tucked away off Parrot st this cosy joint plays host to some of the best pizzas I've had since venturing east to Napoli. Boasting three incredible crust options you cannot be disappointed.Do yourself a favour and grab a slice...house.
Best pizza, I've tried the Detroit and the New York one before loved it. Today I tried the Hand stretch pizza pepperoni delicious. This will be my go to pizza for sure. Use to be rubianos, also good but Slice House way better!!
Got a new york 20 inch pizza that from all the pizza's was Different. The wife pointed out the sauce had an Annoying Spice to it and the ingredients were Soggy but delicious crust. Not tons of ingredients but enough to be Balanced, crust was burnt like being cooked too hot.$38 is kinda steep but this famous Geminani guy is on the place so we will go with Different.
Show up with an appetite and some time to enjoy a couple of slices. Try the meatballs while you're at it, They're smothered in rich tomato sauce and absolutely delicious. I've never met you Tony but there's a special place in heaven for you for crafting such a fine Pie.
What in all imaginable f^<{ is going on here? I only came because I was hungover from Sons of Liberty Alehouse and heard the owners had a partnership in this franchise with the founder of Slice House. Thank god for hangovers! (First time anybody’s ever said that? You’re welcome.) I will try to keep this less “drunken Buddha” than my SOLA review:A) I lived in New York seven years working in finance after I graduated college, and the pizza was the best thing about it. And this pizza was better. Done here.B) Who the “heck” makes good vegan pizza? My brother, Erik, happens to be carnivorously complicated, and yet I’ve never seen him so happy with a pizza, the vegan version of their Margherita, than I’ve ever seen him with pizza. In fact, I’m actually not 100% convinced that dude didn’t eat dairy or ovum for the first time in over 20 years.I cannot say anything about the other alleged Slice Houses, but I can say for sure that Teresa and Tom [Canadians, seriously!!!] rock this location like a hurricane.
Like other reviewers I was initially a little hesitant about the pricing. San Leandro is known for a small selection of mediocre restaurants so it was a risk trying it out. I got one of their pepperoni pizzas to go and after one bite I was sold. The place obviously uses high quality ingredients. The tomato sauce is quite tasty and the crust is thin and chewy. Worth every penny.
Slice House Pizza is the Bomb!!!..Went there for my first time and ordered the Detroit Paesano and a order of meatballs. The Detroit Paesano was extremely Delicious with no question asked!! The meatballs were Excellent with a Good and Hardy amount of Red sauce.me and my second half were so amazed that we went back for a second round the next day..Got the Detroit Traditional..Another Great pizza!! We will be back again and refer our friends to Slice House.
Delicious authentic Italian pizza. Fresh topping & perfect crust!
Hubby and I got take out lunch from Slice House today. We shared a Caesar Salad and a 13 inch Paesano Pizza. It is one of the best pizzas I've had in a long time. The crust was amazing! Good flavor, perfect amount of char to add a bit of smokiness, but never tasted burnt, never got soggy and had a awesome chew. The sauce was very tasty. They used a perfect amount of cheese for me, as I often ask for extra cheese. They're so generous with the cheese, "extra" would've been too much. Great meat variety and nice, fresh mushrooms completed this delicious pizza.Their Caesar Salad was crisp, fresh, and great dressing. It provided a nice contrast in between bites of the pizza.Hubby really liked it as well. We will definitely go back!!
Excellent!! Well made pizza Delicious.??
