Oh…my…goodness! Stop what you’re doing and do yourself a favor and have dinner here! The food is made to order fresh and QUICK!not to mention how authentic and good it taste! We expected it would take a while because it was homemade but no. They give you big portions and they are the sweetest loveliest ladies! We drove all the way from the Stockton area and we don’t regret it! We will definitely be back and send all of our friends and any one who will listen! Thank you so much for the A+ experience!
The owner is soooooo sweet. AlreDy adopted her as my Auntie. Even recommended a spot to have a drink later on, where we ran into her. She was the sweetest and her food was really good, fresh, and hot. She even gave us samples of her gumbo and I don't nobody's gumbo but mine and my Mommies, but hers was sooo good! We enjoyed the food, the music, and the convo we had her her. See you soon AUNTIE!!

I was looking for somewhere to eat, and I was in the neighborhood. I have been aware of this place for years, occasionally passing by on the local bus line on the way somewhere else. I ordered the fried chicken dinner, which turned out to be 4 wings, with garlic mashed potatoes, corn and cornbread. The meal was fine, but the wings were missing the kind of seasoning you would get if this were made at home. The portions for the sides are large, and you get your money's worth here. For those of you who like soul food, and there were a few people coming in and calling in orders, this is a good place, if you can find it.
I really wanted to like this place but I ordered by phone. When walked in I saw a big sign "Cash only" no mention of it on the phone. So I had to go get cash and I'm not a local so it was difficult to go find cash especially at night. Ordered the party wings and fries... they look nothing like the picture of wings online. Both the wings and fries tasted as though they were all fried in the same grease as the fish.
