Super friendly Southern Hospitality staff. Very good food. The greens are amazing. Good mac and cheese, turkey wings and very good peace cobbler.Suggestions: Include RICE with turkey wings; you used to. About 20% LESS SUGAR in peach cobbler and it will be perfect! Great job!
Where do I start? The food was amazing!! And it matched the service ,Top of the line. It felt like I was home showing some southern hospitality. You cant come to Oakland without coming to Scends II.
First time eating here and this place is Amazing. Cocktails pork chops shrimp potato salad and greens was my Devine meal. YUMMY wish they were in Nj where I live.
So far, I have tried the fried fish (tilapia, snapper, and catfish), turkey wings, pork chops, collard greens, potato salad, and corn bread from Scends, and they all have been delicious. The owner and chef, Dion, takes good care of his customers, and I have always received great service when dining in or taking out. Portions are very generous.
Pork chop was dry on one side and moist on the other side. cornbread was not tasty at all. Mac salty. Now the greens was the bomb that got two stars by itself. But overall the customer service was good
Scends customer service is second to none, as soon as you walk in there is somebody to greet you just like family, and you feel welcomed. The food is excellent, I am very satisfied with the service I received.
I have been a regular customer for many years. Though I live an hour away I visit at least 4 times a year. Love this food.
Awesome food! Smothered pork chops, rice & gravy, mac & cheese, corn bread, kool aid?, was just like being at grandmas house on a sunday afternoon??
Had the pleasure eating at Scends for the 2nd time with a friend, the food and services was outstanding, even got food to go. I recommend this place highly, I will be back.
Their food is horrible a disgrace to the name they had the nerve to serve boxed prawns their chicken wings were not seasoned macaroni and cheese was not season did not have cheese like it should yams were canned yams only thing that was good was the rice and gravy in the lemonade
