We love this place. One of our favorites, stop by if you find yourself in downtown San Leandro. One of the best independent grills in town.

This is one of those places where if you don't live near by you may never go there. It's definitely a neighborhood place. They have a very basic menu, but for what they have they do a real nice job of it. The chicken breasts and beef patties are grilled on charcoal which you can taste on their food. It's BBQ meat all year round. Very nice indeed. Their prices seem to be fair for what you are getting too.
Great, flavorful burger and fries. Good pricing. The chocolate milkshake wasn’t my favorite but I’d go back sans the shake. Quick turn around and COVID friendly with some outside seating. I recommend checking this spot out.

What immediately stuck out on my first visit was the fresh crispy lettuce, and freshly sliced bright red tomatoes on my burger. I have returned many times to find this place consistently fresh, with an attention to the small details that make a relatively simple burger very memorable. I heard about it from a friend, and always stop by when I'm in the area. Try the Oakland burger, on sourdough bun, with 2 types of cheese and bacon.
