I had a great experience at Nick's! The service was prompt and friendly. I ordered coffee and the deluxe breakfast with bacon, pancakes, eggs and hash browns. The pancakes were incredibly fluffy and the hash browns were really crunchy - just how I like them. I also appreciated that the coffee mugs were not the tiny ones that some diners use. I will totally be back for breakfast soon!!
My experience made me a little sad. This used to be my favorite diner, but the new owner is gonna make this place extinct soon. Overpriced food and one lady working and basically doing everything. While the other lady was mopping smh. This used to be the place, and always packed. Not so much now, and see why. 2 stars when to our waiter! Shes was awesome ❤
I give this place one star I went there one afternoon for lunch my chicken tenders were terrible my chicken was fried and dried to Smithereens and they were chopped too small they got 2 chicken tenders chopped them into tiny pieces it was enough food for a Toddler a 5 year old went to eat there when i was 18 now iam 31 before the food was so so quality now it's super terrible I mostly went to see my mom Shannon with the braids
This was the worst food ever. There country potatoes no flavor with nothing in them. Should have been called plain diced potatoes. My toast was practically buttered bread. Had to send back and they brought the same bread but a little more toasted. My 4 year old grandchild can make a better breakfast. Won't be back
I've been here before and after owner changes. Can't go wrong with breakfast, dinner on the other hand is nothing special. Simple basic meals. Seems like lots of pre-made things. New to menu are Asian options. Tried garlic noodles with prawns. It's was a mountain of noodles which were ok, and about a dozen shrimp, not prawns. I'll stick to breakfast.
First time coming back since new ownership but food is good and the customer service we got from our server was so nice! Very friendly. Definitely coming back
They're under new management now and not 24hrs anymore but everything they have still makes them a great diner to eat at. The staff is still friendly and the food still comes out pretty quick. The best part is that their menu is a even bigger than it was before!
Our family has been going to Nicks for over 10 years. We were sad to hear it was being sold, but decided to give the new owners support and hoped that the old staff(cooks, servers) along with the menu would remain. We went twice, once for breakfast and once for dinner. All though we saw two former staff members and a very similar menu, the experience was not the same at all. The food was bad and the servers seemed very overwhelmed. There was even a young child ( 4-5 years old?) running behind the counter and in and out the kitchen entrance, making it harder for the servers to do there job. We ordered our favorites each time and it was just not the same. Totally not the same and after two tries, we will not be going back.
I just visited Nicks for the first time since the new ownership changed. We’ll be honest it sucks ! The food is the same on the menu but just ok . They jacked up the prices between 10/20 percent. The food quality is poor. The new owners are Busy giving directives to the only two waitresses catering to it packed restaurant. The owners have their lil kid there running around the restaurant jumping off the counters and being loud! Also the restrooms were filthy and not clean . Also no soap ! I almost forgot it took them 15 minutes to seat myself and my daughter. Now my waitress was awesome she did her best for us providing the best service possible. When I ask to speak with the new owner they just declined being the new owners. Well this the last time I’ll go there . Or maybe if the new owners return to the original service standards of the prior owners!
We called ahead because we were a party of fifty after a memorial service. (Nicks was our loved ones favorite spot) They said come on. They had a whole section ready for us. Half the restaurant actually. The service was great! We got our waters fast. With lemon if requested.All of orders were correct. They got every order correct! And we were all served in a timely manner good hot food!! ? And I was surprised by variety of menu items. But also pleasantly pleased. I had garlic noodle with prawns. (You know it's hard to find good garlic noodles) Good garlic noodles!!! ? Thanks Nick!! Y'all rock!!
