Only the Best! I have been eating here since I was an embryo and For the last 25-26 years I have been coming here as often as I can. I now live about. 100 miles away any usually try to make the drive once a week because there just is no food like home. Always consistent. Best prices around. Amazing food and I have never left hungry and have never found a dish I didn’t love. I compare every restaurant I eat at to Mama Lupes. The best Salsa around!
The family has been trying all the Mexican restaurants in San Leandro. I’ve been following this place for a while on Instagram. Why haven’t We tried this place sooner!!!! This place is a gem! The foo, absolutely amazing and flavorful. Made with love, heart and soul. The music spectacular and the staff, wow, above and beyond. You can feel the love they have for their restaurant and community. I can’t wait to go back and try more of the menu. We nearly ordered it all….it was so good we forgot to take pictures of our food.
Food and service were good it wasn't terribly busy when we visited. I ordered a shrimp dish that was in a heavy sauce, the problem I had was the tails were still on the shrimp making it rather inconvenient and messy to remove the trails from the shrimp while the dish was hot. It did have good flavor though.Would like to give them another try with a more traditional meal.
The food is delicious and to die for. The staff are friendly. The restaurant is beautiful and clean. I might be bias because I've gone here for years.

This place was absolutely perfect. The staff and owners are super friendly and make you feel at home the moment you walk in.The recently renovated restaurant totes a bar with full liquor license and a mouth-watering menu. I spent a good 10 minutes being torn on what to order because it all sounded good. It had standard mexican fares but all amazing.The salsa for the chips was good enough to drink and I put it on everything.While sipping on a delious margarita, I decided on the fish taco platter and it was, well.... amazing.I highly recommend this place, and will be returning soon!!???
