Husband and I always go on dates and we were craving some seaweed salad. The service here was super fast. The ambiance was very cute, Japan like. Not sure if it's true Japanese but it feels more like anime decor. The food was very flavorful and fun to eat. One dish felt like it was a taco sushi wrap. The portions are very large. So just know that there will be left overs.
Great sushi and chicken teriyake. My fav is the teriyaki sauce and the tempura, cali and spicy tuna roll. Excellent customer service too!!!

first time even trying this place. They said 30 minutes which I found kinda long for Sushi. Then when I get their they another 15 minutes. 45 minutes for sushi!?!?!?! wasted trip and shows poor management. I won't be coming back.

Superb food
Great little local spot for sushi and sashimi right near Old Town San Leandro. Dine-in is open currently, with drink and roll specials on a little board outside. We ordered for take-out for our own dinner this time around, but the staff was very friendly during ordering and their very efficient pickup process.Sashimi and Sake Sashimi dinners were nicely portioned and of good quality for both, though the turnip base was a little mealy this time around. Their two rice-less roll options, Makiyaki special (wrapped in cucumber) and Red Sun (wrapped in tuna) were both excellent, good proportions of the component ingredients and delivered beautifully.
Not good. California roll too clunky. Sushi and sashimi too big and too tough to eat. Teriyaki awful. Don't recommend at all.
Very friendly staff and nice selection.The Island roll (lemon, salmon, shrimp tempura) and scallop tempura rolls were very yummy.
Had lunch with my dad there. Great value good food and good prices! ?
