Gem of a dimsum place.Service is pretty good.Expect at least an hour wait for Sunday dimsum if you come after 11 am.❤️Peking duck and Portuguese tart
I know this place is always packed. Come around 1130 and you should be able to get a table right away. This place I have to say has very decent dim sum in East Bay. The dim sum will be ordered through a tablet which I think it's very convenient and quick. The prices are not expensive. They provide pretty good customer services. Today we had a total of 7 people to eat dim sum. Of course they will charge 15% service fee right away if you have more than 6 people. When I asked for a check, the service fee was already included. They calculated the 15% out of the subtotal, not including tax. This is the proper way of calculating with the tips. So I added 10 more bucks to the tips. Then they looked at the check and reminded me that 15% tips was included. I really appreciated they double checked with me to make sure I knew about 15%. I told them 10 dollars was the extra tips for them.*FYI: Restaurants that include tax to calculate the tips is wrong! We don't get food/services from tax. I know it's just a few more bucks, but it's not fair for us to pay tips for TAX!
Service wasn't what we expected. Plus tips added on the bill 18%That's the reason they don't care much about services. Foods are normal. Far East in Alameda is better place for dine in and excellent foods at that place.
Came here for dim sum. The food is decent and great that you can submit your order/food/dimsum via a tablet. I definitely miss the pork shu mai, they only have shrimp shu mai. The restaurant is pretty big modern. Most of the staff speaks Chinese only and it's hard for us non Chinese speaking individual to communicate but they flag down a guy who can understand us quickly.
Food was okay. We ordered a few items and they did not care if it arrived or not. Once we told them that there were missing items, they just cancelled and were not interested in putting the order through the kitchen. The lady in the suit working here should just quit. She's a very unhappy person working here.
Worst customer service ever! Who is the manager there? The way he or she hired and trained the staff should get fired Long time ago. Or this restaurant has a different purpose of making profit? The food is good ! I don’t mind it’s pricey.I Ordered a veggie dish waited an hour remind 3 times. Why this restaurant Forced us to pay 18% tip when there is no Service, They deserve a lawsuit .Take 20 minutes to bring desert.Restaurant is not busy or full seated . What the heck !No big box to bring food home, Only small box were given I am not able to bring my rib home.On and on they just don’t care . overall still terrible experience for my guests. Their service is negative -10 if rating were given.
- 貴妃蚌 (gui fei bang -mando pronounciation) // jumbo clam with garlic and vermicelli and green onions ($10)this is actually one of my mom's favorite dishes to get from dim sum spots and it's something i also love eating. it's actually not on their official menu however that day when we were ordering it was on the ipad! what I like about this dish at fusion delight is the clam meat and the flavoring. it didn't overpower one another and it felt really balanced. you can still taste the freshness of the clams paired with vermicelli and the sauce in every bite ? definitely recommend this dish if yall ever see it on the menu at fusion delight or any other dim sum spot!!
Have been going here since I was shown the place a few years back. My go to dim sum spot in the east bay for dine in and take out. Never fails, and they take card.
Food was good. Staff was unresponsive and rude. On top of that they applied an automatic gratuity of 18% for TWO people when the service was horrible and they were lucky if they earned 7-10%.Additionally, had the waiter run into my chair multiple times to the point it was deliberately done. I guess we didn't fit the profile of who they want dining there. Had to fight back by temper. Fine with me. I'll be sure to share my experience with plenty of others.Oh and dishes each came so far apart the previous dish was ice cold by the time it arrivedWould have given more stars if the horrible staff didn't overshadow the food with such a negative experience. Oh and all the prices on the menu have been raised by being crossed out with permanent marker and raised multiple dollars per dish. Totally classy...Save yourself and eat somewhere else.
Try their:- fried hargow (spicy tho so beware)And my kids favorites:- soup dumplings- cold garlic greenbeansMy kids are 3 and 9mo. Theyre very specific about food. So if they like it. Its probably good
