It’s always good to see New privately owned restaurants open in San Leandro an East Bay area. I was excited to taste this new menu and unique style of eggs also a wonderful place that serves alcohol as early as 7 AM in the morning but overall I was disappointed in the dish I ordered, yet I’m still excited to see where this restaurant goes
The baked eggs were good, but the service could have been better. For some reason larger parties that arrived after us were getting served way ahead of our party of 2. Not fun when you're starving as baked eggs paired with the spotty service take a long long time. Almost walked out. The steak eggs was the better dish. Did not enjoy the spiked Mexican coffee.

Top quality ingredients, locally sourced and delicious. Friendly, generous service & kind wait staff. The Owner came over to compliment our shoes!
Food was light but filling. The eggs are baked so they are fluffy but not oily. It took a bit longer to get the food then expected but other than that it was a nice experience.

The atmosphere is very nice and everyone there is super friendly! The baked eggs are delicious and Ellies baked eggs is definitely worth the visit?
Was not too impressed. Waiters were not that attentive. Had to ask for more coffee, water, and butter. Diners should not have to ask. The servers should anticipate their diners' needs. The one selection of bread was not tasty. The egg omelet was just fair. Most likely, will not return. I do hope, however, this small business succeeds. We do need more quaint restaurants in San Leandro.
Love the baked eggs and the potatoes! They are delicious! The scone and coffee is good too!
HOT cheesy eggs topped w basil and tomatoes. Side was an arugula salad w parmesan shavings. Excellent food and service housed in a very cute place.
