Step back into the 1950s! You'll see vintage signs for popular sundaes, antique carved saloon cupboards, and an entire wall collection of action figure toys.The ice cream of any amount is inexpensive and you get a LOT of bang for your buck. And it's delicious!! About 24 tubs of amazing flavors, from traditional to wacky and youthful.The owner is a sweet old man; never did find out if his name is Clancy but he always responded when we said "Hi Clancy!"When we'd say goodbye, he'd say, "see you tomorrow!" And we always got a kick out of that.The kids who work there are sweet and patient. We don't know if Clancy still works much anymore, but we hope he's happy and well.This joint is a gem in the entire SF Bay Area. It's what people call "Instagram Worthy." This is THE BEST ice cream shop around and it deserves all the recognition it deserves.
Definitely one of San Leandro's local favorites. I always like the selection they have to choose from and get a different flavor each time.

First time visited this place. Was referred by some friends who grew up coming here. I heard it can really get crowded but I guess I came at good timing. I walked right up and placed my ice cream order for 4. There was only 1 clerk at them time. As my order was wrapping up there were people starting to line up behind me. The ice cream was great. Small ice cream parlor but I would come back.
My childhood. Classic flavors (cookie dough and Oreo cookie are my favorites), courteous staff, and a cozy inside for a quick treat. Definitely a 10/10; their scoops are beyond generous.
Best place in the east bay to get icecream for sure. Anyone that tell you different hasn't eaten there. They make it themselves and they've been there forever. Its a must have!
