If you want a lot of food for cheap this is the place. I just wasn't sure how fresh things are. I saw one dish with a big long hair in it. After I left I wasn't sure if I am going to be sick. But I was just fine. Service was friendly.Management just needs to spruce things up and shampoo the carpets and it could become a good place.
Google has this place rated at 3.5 stars & I have read over half of one and two star reviews over the past couple years, so I’m not sure how the ratings are calculated but here’s my experience..I went for the lunch buffet on Saturday,&?The shrimp is fried whole with the head and digestion tract still attached. There was no type of crab meat available. The mussels still had hairy grit in the middle(improperly cleaned)And so over cooked they barely would pry away from the shell with a forkAnd fried smelt.. really? Those were the seafood options…&The sushi was repulsively stale. The only two deserts provided was very dry and flaky like with barely any sweetness. Almost like dusty texture. The other option was to dip out some chocolate pudding dumped into a metal bowl or eat under ripened cantaloupe or citrus slices. The only foods that were prepared the best was the fried chicken, mashed potatoes, vegetables, and beef tips. However, I’ve seen much better quality food in a TV dinner.Additionally I usually do not go here …but I had a problem with an aggressive waitress who First kept questioning me if I was even supposed to be there when I had already paid, and was following me around and antagonizing me.also the waitress continuously reached over my friends plates to keep grabbing plates that she was still trying to decide if she wanted to eat them or not.So if you’re just hungry and just want to be able to eat a bunch of unclean anything with in the two hour time limit and receive hostile service…Then come to this buffet.I was invited here .. because normally I have passed the property and never had a desire to even go in there.however now after this experience, I definitely will never come back to this place.
It's okay/good. Various chinese food that was decent (American Chinese at its best), basic sushi, shrimp fried in garlic and jalapenos (my favorite out of everything), fried fish, muscles. They also had fried chicken, mashed potatoes and french fries; salad bar. Very limited deserts. The crab legs are fried in a batter, not what I am used to. I like to dip the crab meat into butter and garlic, which wasn't available. No crab cracking tools provided - good luck with that. You only get one serving of crab with your meal (it's not all you can eat). Yet, with all else that is offered, that's all you really need.Service was very nice. They were very attentive and friendly. They charge by the age for kids, which was a good deal for my 5yr old. I think it was $1.75 x 5 for her meal.I only gave 4 stars, as I'm not a real fan of American Chinese. The place got crowded quickly, so get there early.
It was a very disappointing experience. Food were dry, and cold. There were no Labels for the dishes and I had it was hard to distinguish between the pork. Chicken and the beef. I do not eat pork so I asked the waitress, if the ribs were beef or pork. She was equally confused and gave me a wrong answer at first. Later came back and told me it was pork. I didn’t like the overall cleanliness of the place. No wonder the restaurant was fairly empty. I am definitely not going back.
The establishment was overall an unsatisfying, uncomfortable, and unprofessional experience. The tables were not well kept and cleaned to the point the tables has sticky substance on the table. The business had it's air conditioning machine unfunctional on a hot day with no windows to open. The air was thick, hot, and still. The food was mediocre, but what was highlighted in a negative light was the service. Although some waitors/waitresses were respectful and provided mediocre service, other waitors/waitresses stopped our party as we were leaving and demanded tip. After trying to leave tip at the front desk, she stepped in front of us and demanded tip again until one of the party members gave her tip. When it was given, she smirked. I usually don't leave reviews, but this experience was too distirbing to not leave a suggestions for others. In summary, I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.
I wish I could say better things about this place. It was clean, the people were nice, it wasn't all that expensive for and all you can eat, and all of the food looked good it's just that Everything was cold. The shrimp was cold. The ribs were cold.. The deep fried sushi was cold. The vegetable and shrimp aside was cold. The chow fun noodles were cold. Everything was cold. This was really disappointing comment because I had really looked forward to eating here , and it is a rare occasion when I eat I don't know all you can eat buffet. I wish the food had been hot I would have been able to taste it better. I wanted to ask for my money back but they were having a slow day I didn't really have the time to talk with them about it. Maybe in the future they will learn that you must serve food hot enough to taste it. Until then, I cannot recommend this place , which is sad because they were very nice people.
It is an okay place. Lunch has less items than dinner. Dinner is more sea food. The waiters are very not professional. An incident happened between us (our table) and a waiter while we were leaving, she asked about tips when we already tipped her on the bill and she accused us of lying by saying "I think you forgot something, to tip." When we told her that we did she replied by "no you did not".We told the manager about her behavior.I will give it for lunch 3/10
No air filters, people weren't wearing their mask when they would get up and get more food. The price is too expensive last weekend I took my family of 5 including me and it came out being $90. Not worth it.
I go there because there are very few buffets open in our area. The food is okay, but they have a large selection and it has reasonable prices for lunch.
The place is in the downtown area, the building looks old but it's clean and bright. Not too many choices, but the taste is good. They serves crab for dinner with price $22 with tax per person. The server is nice and come often to take the plates and brings drinks. Generally is ok.
