This place is a legit Ethiopian place with music that almost transports you to Ethiopia. We tried the lentil sambussa chechebsa and the Veggie combo. The lentil sambussa was very tasty and each plate has 4 sambussas which serves two very easily. The veggie combo can easily serve a family of 4-5 people.

I think Walia has some of the best Ethiopian food around SJ. The tibs were excellent and juicy. Injera bread is fresh and light. The service was really good too. Would definitely go back with a bigger group to try more of their menu.

I can not say enough good things about Walia. I've been eating there for years, and have tried most everything on the menu. It's all incredibly good, very high quality, fresh, and made by the most lovely people you will ever meet. I've continued to order from them as take out and delivery throughout the pandemic, and they have never disappointed. I adore them.

Very inexpensive place with delicious and healthy food. Love this kind of cuisine, too bad not too many people are aware of Ethiopian food. Highly recommend this restaurant although I recently discovered a better place named Leyou Ethiopian located in San Jose. Certainly want to visit again next time I am nearby.

I am convinced this is the best place to have kuanta firfir (which is a dehydrated beef jerky marinated in a spicy stew mixed with pieces of injera). That Kitfo was amazing as well - the two is such a combo to die for. I had to get one more to take home and I know for a fact whenever I am not making these at home, am running to you guys! Great job… I also love the all inclusive music playlist you had going on while I was dining. Maybe I will not drive there next time so I can even go for the Ethiopian beer!! Cheers! Selah!

If your looking for authentic Ethiopian cuisine then this is the place! Amazing taste and great service. Definitely recommend this place

What a great find! Ever since the Ethiopian place in downtown Campbell closed, it's been tough finding good spots but this place was a pleasant find! The injera was sour and soft, the lamb tibs had a great, rich flavor and the lentils ties it all together. And the best part - $50 (with tip) for lunch. Recommended!

Food was average. I ordered grled lamb tibs. It was hard and not as flavorful as I had in few other places. I was unhappy with the service. They forgot about the beer I ordered and nobody came to offer togo box when we were done.

Best Ethiopian food ever! My favorite dishes are the atikilit and the juicy lamb tibs. The spices and herbs are perfect every time. I highly recommend this restaurant :)!
