We have been coming here for years. When we have visitors from out of town we decided to bring them here for lunch. We were their first customer and their service was the worst we ever had. The staffs were busy on the take-outs and I have to go get them so we can placed our orders. Than we just waited for a very very long time for our foods. We watched customer come and go with their orders. It took 40mins for our food. This is so unacceptable.
This place has pretty good Hong Kong styled food! Workers are nice. Menu is large (maybe too large). The only gripe I have is that it can be hard to order on the phone--some workers mainly speak Cantonese only.
It’s close to the 680 freeway, so it’s safe to say that for a regular portion fried rice/chow mein that costs $18.00 would constitute highway robbery (see reviewer below me). Food is nowhere close to excellent, which is why I’m calling them out. While I was eating I overheard the waitress, twice, telling the patrons that the chef cooked their dishes wrong, and offered them to eat the incorrectly made dishes. The nerve! Lol.
OMG the broth for this was so beefy rich and the pieces were so soft. You can tell it was cooking for a long while. I loved it so much I finished my cousin's 'cause he didn't want to sip his broth. :D I love that it's open later 'cause we wanted to go to some other places in the area that purported to be open 'til 10:30 PM; however, that wasn't true.I'd definitely come here again. I'll be adventurous and try something else because there's a lot on that extensive menu I'd like to explore.
First time visiting. Not bad. Had the baked pork chop over fried rice (classic hk western food). Very hong kongish. Will come back to try more.
Solid HK food spot, great portions--fits two meals for me. Lunch special comes with a drink.
Check out their daily specials on their chalk board up front near the cashier/bar area. Highly recommend their Hainan Chicken with flavor infused rice.
I’m really impressed with the taste of food but it’s really expensive for afternoon tea. This is the closest I’d get to HK
Food is good, be here regularly, but I don’t understand why they cleaning the kitchen during the business hour like 7:30pm? Hope the owner see this and lecture employee
service is fast, taste authentic and good value
