Nice place for a quick eat. Urban momo is located within a food court. They have a couple of vegetarian options too. We tried their vegan momo and the momo chilli which was all right.

Ordered fried paneer momos, chili gobi and vegetarian noodles. The food was little proxy but tasted really good! The momos were crispy and the stuffing was amazing. (Slightly pricy but the taste was good)

I have been to this place once before for fried chicken momos and loved it. Thought of ordering some of the other items on the menu. Ordered through DoorDash.Delivery:The food was packed decently.Food:1. Chicken Momo Chili: These are momos cooked with chili sauce. I liked the spicy taste. These would go well with a side of rice (which can help finish the sauce :) )2. Chicken Chow Mein: The noodles were very flavorful. The chicken pieces were a bit larger than I would expect in a chow mein or rice. Also the chicken didnt have a lot of flavor on its own. I still liked the overall taste.3. Vegetarian Paneer Momo: The stuffing was flavorful. I liked the taste. The sauce that came with this was not enough for the entire dish.Overall I feel this place is a bit pricer than the other momo places, but still a decent place to get good momos and chow mein :)

Would be 3.5 stars if I could. Food is good, just nothing extraordinary compared to other momo/Nepalese spots. On the pricey side per entree since it's inside San Pedro Market.

After a leisurely stroll along Almaden Ave in San Jose, wanted some small bites.Went to Urban Momo (Indo-Nepali cuisine). While they have a variety if traditional dishes from Nepali cuisine, I HAD to try their momos (dumplings filled with meat or veggies). They have 2 kinds - steamed and fried. Traditional momos are steamed which is what I ordered. The 5 star review is just based on the quality of their momos. It is difficult to get the correct time to steam them and it is easy to overcook which makes them extremely rubbery. The chef in there has mastered it all. The momos were delicious - delicately soft. The chicken filling was also cooked to perfection. The accompanying sauces did the trick in adding flavor.I have never had such perfect momos since 1992, when I had visited a small village near the India-Nepal border.

We got chicken chili momos and samosas. The momos were fried instead of steamed so that was different. The filling and sauce were both amazing but we'd prefer steamed momos. The samosas were sprinkled with some sort of seasoning... They would have been better without it. I'm sure we'll be back to try other things.

Fantastic food. Get the tika fries as a side.

Love the food here. My favorite would probably be the fried chicken momo. I've also had their chicken tikka masala and garlic tikka fries which were both really good too. I didn't like the chicken kebabs as much because I felt they were too dry. Paneer momos were good but I prefered the pan fried chicken ones. My friend also liked the pan fried more than the steamed momo.

Urban Momo is my absolute fav place. If you like Delhi style momos then you should definitely try this place. They are consistent with quality and quantity of their food for last 4 years. I love veggie momos, samosa and chowmein from here. Even their Gulab jamun is great but they dont make it themselves. If you are in San Jose area, you must try this place once and see for yourself. They are located inside the foodcourt of San Pedro Square in downtown san jose.
