We went in a little before 9, there were several large parties so we were quoted about 30 mins. They close at 930 ... we were sat just before 930 and Jade was AMAZING! She didn't make us feel rushed, but ensured our visit was delicious, and we'll paced even though it was right at closing. We didn't dally, and tried to eat pretty quick so we could allow the closers to finish. But everything was delicious! Just as if we sat down at 8pm in the middle of a rush. It wS my friend's first time, and he was awe struck at the delicious sauces, and the fluffy bread.
I love the building. When you arrive inside, it is gorgeous. Depending on what you order, it can be amazing. I had the chicken parmigiana 3 course meal. The salad was fresh and great tasting, the dessert was awesome, but what wasn't the best for me was the spaghetti with it's sauce. I think the chicken parmigiana's flavor was great but the spaghetti sauce didn't pair well. I would suggest asking for fettuccini Alfredo for a substitute.Other than that, I would recommend.
We arrived 15 minutes before closing and we were treated as if we were the first customers of the day. No rush, great food and wonderful atmosphere. When we asked for dessert we were informed the kitchen had closed a half hour earlier but he would see what he could do. We got dessert!
The place has a really charming and rustic vibe. The food is okayish, we didn’t like it. There’s really not much for vegetarians to order here, we decided to go ahead with the 3 course meal option. Caesar salad and minestrone soup were good to start with. However, both entrees were really blend and tasted cheesy. I wouldn’t be going back, although the vibe may excite you, as far as vegetarians are concerned, food won’t.
Ambience is amazing, taste is mild to my taste as I am Indian. The servers were one of the best I have seen lately.Great italian food in the vicinity
We think that definitely this is the best restaurant for Italian food in the area, food is delicious and the service is great, the place is very nice for families and or friends, the only difficult part is to find a parking spot near the place. We came for my wife’s birthday and definitely coming back!
Lots of good memories eating at various Old Spaghetti Factory restaurants. So when we were looking for a place to eat late Thursday night in San Jose we were pleased to find this was close by - and one of the few places still serving! But I swear I remember them having pizza on the menu in days gone by.... Our meal (spaghetti and meatballs, and garlic mizrithan) were very very good. Husband is very picky about his meatballs and he said these were good and he ate everything on his plate! The salads were fresh and the dressings good. The bread was good too - but it was difficult to cut with the knife they provided. And the spumoni ice cream was good. But I have to say the Berry Sangria was very very good!
Love this place… enjoyed a nice birthday dinner with the family
Cool little spot. Unfortunately the food was bland. No seasoning or any flavor. We returned it for something better though and were not charged. The spaghetti tasted like it had been sitting on a steamer for hours. The hosts were really nice and so was the staff. Lovely location but good luck with the parking garage. We got to sit on the trolley which was a plus. Don't think I'll ever come back here though... It's too much of a hassle just to get inside. Food is overrated and overpriced.
The food was delicious ? and the service was amazing. The place was super busy so glad I made reservations. The garlics cheese bread is sooooo good!!! I wish I got some to go!! Lol! I can’t wait to go again!!
