We were able to be seated an hour before our reservation. Open Table has been having issues with trying to make reservations. Concierge was awesome. Waiter was attentive.
The food quality has really gone down. NY Strip was over salted, my friend did not want to send back. Parmesan-truffle fries had neither; had to send them back. French onion soup was tasteless with gobs of bread inside. Not a great dining experience and definitely NOT worth the money.

We enjoyed our lunch, all the dishes were well prepared and delicious. Particularly memorable was Jessica!! She went beyond expectation to provide us with attentive service throughout our lunch. Highly Recommend!
My fiancé and I had an 8:00 play to get to. The Broadway San Jose production recommended the Grill. We were impressed with everything we experienced at the Grill. The atmosphere was classy, the menu was extensive. The food was delicious. The service was the best and the cost was reasonable.
Food was not great quality and poorly presented. Not at all what this restaurant used to be.
The servers were exceptional as well as the food. But the person at the front desk was a bit rude, she just said "it's an open table restaurant, except inside", sit wherever you want, but she didn't come with us, she didn't give us the menu. She could be a little more gentle. Discrimination for being Latin?
Food was great and the service was excellent. Try the surf and turf!!!!
We love Grill on the Alley for delicious steak and their friendly service. Their outdoor patio is a fun way to enjoy downtown San Jose and bring our pups to dine with us.
tasteless steak, very disappointed, it was like eating water. The service was excellent, Hector was very nice waiter. Won't go back and will not recommend.
