Good food, but no specialized imported beers. The bar is great but it's not a traditional UK Pub. They should call themselves the Yankee.If you like traditional American food, this place is great. If you want a British experience, this isn't it.
Came here a couple months back before heading to see a San Jose Earthquakes game. Lots of food and drink options- we had already eaten so just focuses on the latter. Props to the guy who let us in a little earlier than scheduled opening and got us going with beers while he finished his prep and setup. Appreciated the customer service.
Went there to watch UCL 2022 finals, great atmosphere, good ambience and nice varieties of beer. What else do you expect from the place ?
Great place good drinks good food. Dont asked for limes they where at least a week old other then that. Plenty of TVs on the inside plenty of TVs on the outside we went there to watch a warriors game ask to pay $10 cover charge because of a boxing game I thought it was funny because on the inside of the bar there is literally seven people at the bar he said we can sit on the patio that was free for the warriors game so we said yes and we went back there I found out that's where all the people were I get it it's slow and everything but don't charge a cover charge with seven people at the bar it's not worth it anyways great time heat lamps in the back good people very clean area easy to find definitely recommend checking out the Brit if you like the Brit definitely check out the original brick on Almaden really good bartenders there on speakers that are really suck music is very quiet but overall the people and the bartenders are very friendly definitely recommend checking out both locations
Nice selection of draft beers. Good food (Sheppard’s pie was awesome). Friendly staff. Lots of sports on TVs. Fun ambiance! I will definitely come back at my next visit in town.
Cool spot but the long haired gentlemen who works there has overcharged me on drinks at the bar on 3 separate occasions now. I asked him why he charged me more and he said he "rounds up." I confirmed the price differences with a waitress. Very unprofessional. I will not attend this establishment again.
Worst bar ever. Got there with my wife and literally 2 mins after sitting at the bar the bartender tells my wife that she keeps taking f ing selfies, and that’s why he don’t attend us. I flipped and tossed all his straws for disrespecting my wife. Worst long haired bar tender in San Jose.
Horrible service. We were here for food and drinks before a sharks game. We waited over an hour for food and they ended up giving our food to different people. We had to leave due to the game starting in 10 minutes and they acted as if it was a huge deal to refund our money. We had to leave to catch the game and as of this post, don’t know if we will be refunded our money for the food that we paid for but did not receive. Good drinks, horrible customer service. Hopefully I can get refunded for the food we didn’t receive.
A classic to go spot for that sport fever with some good food to keeping the night vibes going. Must go spot to see. Recommended.
I dig the space quite a bit, just unfortunate that the deejay space is in the back so the music and dance floor isn't as visible from the front. Great drinks and energy all around.
