we were in the Bay Area and wanted some Thai, saw this one had really good reviews so we stopped and we are so glad we did! the food was soooo flavorful and portion sizes were huge. the staff was super friendly and nice. the location for us was the only problem, really sketchy part of downtown San Jose. after we were finishing up we looked across the street and a homeless guy was urinating right next to our car .-.Other than the outdoor atmosphere, this restaurant is top notch.
I love Thai Chili express , prices are cheap food is got and fresh my go to is pad se ew extra spicy.
The food quality is excellent here. I loved the flavors of the yellow curry with chicken. The Thai tea is delicious. The service was good and they even package to-go orders well.
If a restaurant gets 5 stars from me... it means alot cuz I don't give anyone slack. Why? No one cuts me any slack. THE FOOD HERE IS AWESOME! I love almost all the dishes and order to go 2-4 times a week! You can go wrong with chicken Thai basil or the pad Thai noodles for $12 each respectively. Great food. Great service. Just a great place for Thai food!
Very much like the Panda express of Thai food. It was "ok" but wouldn't come here again. For the amount of money they charge you're better off having quality Thai at Thai Spice.
I've been here multiple times and every time I leave satisfied. Food (especially the curries and curry fried rice) is really good, owners are friendly, decent prices, and the restaurant is clean.
An unpretentious place, clean, bright, airy, with a simple and complete menu and friendly staff.The food is just right (taste, smell, color, temperature) and you will receive good portions and very affordable prices. Oh! and you can see the people in the kitchen doing everything from scratch.Bonus point: THE FRESH CANE SUGAR JUICE, you have to try it! (also you see when they are doing it for you).Definitely give this place a try when you want to have a comfortable meal full of Thai flavor.
First time ordering. Based on one of the reviews I ordered Drunken Pad Thai - fabulous!! Great value and portion was very generous. Can't wait to try more items on their menu. BTW, it's located behind the building at 304 Santa Clara. I drove by 3 times before I figured that out.
I was looking for some decent Thai food near the San Jose, CA area and decided to tryThai Chili Express for pick up. After looking through the menu online, I decided to try the Ka Prao over rice. I ordered over the phone and started heading over there. I came right when it was opening on a Saturday so there was a few street parking spots right outside of the restaurant. There is also a lot in the back. They told me my food would take 15 minutes so I wandered in 10 minutes and waited 5 minutes by the bar. The waitress there was very nice asking me if I wanted water while I waited.
Am not from San Jose but I've thai food so I looked this one up in GPS. And I can say it is a great restaurant fast food also place to come and eat.. food is delicious.. 5 stars from me.
