not great service, but great food and comes out reasonably fast. not a lot of amenities or ambience, but it's not necessary with this type of food. would rate 4.5 stars if possible.
The staff is very friendly, and you can see how they try to make the service as quick and accurate as possible. In addition, you see them constantly cleaning and disinfecting the place and furniture.Today, for lunch, I had:- Lam hot soup (napa, lamb, vermicelli, enoki mushroom, imitation crabmeat, meatball, fish cake, kamaboko, pork blood rice, cake, fried tofu skin, clam, sour mustard, brown beech mushroom, tofu, cilantro pork bone soup.- Veggie hot soup (Taiwanese cabbage, vermicelli, enoki mushrooms, tomato, corn, lotus root, fried tofu skin, Chinese string bean, king oyster mushroom, taro, bamboo shoots, soft tofu, zucchini, black fungus, water soup base)- Milk creme green teaFlavor, presentation, and the temperature on point.Bonus for vegetarian/vegan people: more vegetables than soup/rice/noodles, and variety! You won't be disappointedGive it a try and enjoy hot and comfortable food!
Came on a Tuesday night and it was empty. If you come hungry, a regular size won't do it haha. I'd recommend getting the bigger portion and share it.
Nothing could beat a steaming pot in a gloomy day of winter. Order through app, with several available options to choose level of spicy, choice of side items, etc. Foods are ready within a short time after placing order. Not much interaction with staffs to minimize chance of getting covid. Lunch time is not crowded when we visited on Thu. Pots are tasty similar to the Ranch 99 location in Milpitas.
The BEST hot pot I’ve been too. First off, they are dog friendly so wow. Second, service was amazing and fast. I loved their tea, the hot pot was unreal. I would recommend to everyone
First time going to Tasty pot! Came here with a friend who introduced me to this place. Was not busy and was an open space to prevent any close contact with anyone. I ordered the Beef Soup. The display of the hot pot was cool to experience which was plenty of food for one serving. I also ordered one of their boba teas as well that hit the spot. The staff was great as well.
I ordered the Japanese miso hot soup. I don't know if this was a one time thing, because I've seen decent reviews for this place, but it definitely wasn't a good first experience. The soup I ordered promised crab, fish cake, tofu, cabbage, lobster (which I added) and shrimp. I received one piece of tofu, a bite of crab at most, and half the bowl was filled with cabbage and the rest was just missing. I was issued a refund because I did not receive what I had paid for. The experience was overall disappointing, especially because of how much I was looking forward to the items promised to me. I wanted to enjoy my experience with this place, but it looks like I won't be ordering from here again.
Really tasty spot! Wish there was a little more meat, a little less cabbage, but overall a great spot for hot pot!
super good soup! fast service too :)
2 of us went around 6pm, we weren't offered outside dining though indoors seating was well spaced out and we were OK with it. We both ordered the lamb hotpot, and it was pretty good.* Note, there is a leveler under the pot that lets you put out the flame. I didn't know that and got the soup soo hot that I burn my tongue.
