This place prices are from $8 to $36 up if I don't bad remember. Sushi was ok no to bad. The servers are fast and nice. The restaurant looks cleam
I rarely leave a review or tip less than 20% out of support for the service industry, but this time I had to do both. Average food at best, but the service was awful. The waitress either didn’t want to be there or didn’t want us there. If she placed/slammed our glasses and plates on the table any harder, they would have broken. Will not be returning
This place is amazing. It's small and cozy but also light and cheery. Even with the place being busy the service was very fast. They have tons of things to choose from and even the veggie rolls are extremely good! I had the Gypsy special roll and it had great flavors and decent heat to it. The surprise was the Veggie Dragon roll. The lemon sauce they have on the plate under it makes it crave-worthy. I highly recommend a stop here.
We visited Sushi Kan because of its great reviews. We were overall quite happy with our experience but the sushi and sashimi could've been better.Just to get clear, the other dishes we had were quite delicious - bulgogi, udon, rolls, etc. But they weren't special nor authentic. Just a good decent tasting food. But obviously a sushi restaurant must be judged by its sushi. We did the chef's special nigiri+sashimi. Everything felt average. Decent fish, decent portions... but nothing to command such a high Google review score. I wish they'd have more "high end" pieces (ie. hotate, toro) rather than sprinkle with regular tuna varieties. The server was super nice and friendly which added to the atmosphere.Don't get me wrong. Definitely one of the better sushi joints but nothing worthy of 5 stars...
Great sushi friendly staff. Lots of other options besides sushi but I did not try then. Was in town for business in a hotel across the street. It was so good I went multiple times.
I love this place it's my absolute favorite sushi near downtown area. However my most recent visit I ordered the pork belly appetizer and it just looks like a side of beacon that was a bit disappointing.
Love Sushi Kan. The food was excellent. The staff were very friendly and attentive, even though the place was slammed with customers. I thoroughly enjoyed the rolls and the fish was very fresh. We will definitely be back.
The manager is very friendly! Also the ambiance of the location is super fun. If you are looking for a good time come here and make sure to order extra sake bombs haha.Sushi quality is good, rice to fish ratios are excellent, and the presentation of the food is well put together.10/10 recommend to a friend also bring a friend haha also the photos is the aftermath ?…
Worst sushi and miso soup (all water and one piece of tofu) I have ever had. When I left the whole roll completely untouched (all pieces except for one I tried) and asked the server to take it off the bill, she said it is not her fault that I didn’t like it and I still have to pay for this. When I asked to speak with the owner she said she was owner (even though I heard the owner was a gentleman) and she is not willing to be responsible for horrible tasting food. I used to work in the restaurant business when getting through school and in each place we were absolutely obsessed with customers satisfaction. Guest should not pay for the food they didn’t eat because they didn’t like it
Service was fast, and the food was SO GOOD. On a side note, the bathroom was also clean and well stocked, which is always a plus!
