Dined in and it was a great experience. fair prices, the staff are all very nice, and the food was great! Definitely going back and would definitely recommend!!
Used to come here all the time for AYCE. That's now gone. The restaurant was also empty at 6pm on a Thursday night which seemed suspicious.Food took longer than expected as we were only ones in the restaurant. They were pumping out plenty of takeout orders for app-based delivery. When food did arrive, quality of rolls seemed much lower than I remember. Dry Crystal Shrimp roll lacking unagi sauce, Godzilla roll with questionably tasting spicy tuna. Service was non-existant after taking order/receiving food. Had to get up to ask for water, and was missing Miso soup from a Bento box dinner. (served on a plate not a box as well) Likely our server was too busy rolling out takeout orders to pay us mind. My check was very pricey for the quality of food and service received that night. I understood now why a once booming AYCE sushi spot was now empty.
They removed all you can eat and it was the best thing about the restaurant. This restaurant needs to bring it back! Update: they still haven't brought it back and they're saying they aren't going to bring it back. It's a disappointment that they aren't. I would say Kenzo sushi is just as good if not better and they have AYCE
This is my fav sushi place in San Jose. They offer a great variety and sushi is always fresh! Staff is friendly and offer good suggestions of you have a difficult time choosing. Personal tabs, spicy tuna, dragon roll and cherry blossom with a glass of Soju.
Amazing sushi!
We did a phone order, and it was ready in about 15 minutes. Sushi rolls were well packaged for takeout. Miso soup was hot with the traditional amount of toppings and was so flavourful. Owners are always there and remember your previous visits and orders. Food was amazing overall. We had Golden Dragon Roll, Ocean Dream Roll, Saba Kama, and Saba Shioyaki appetizers, and Scallop, Hamachi, and Izu dai-2 pcNigiri. I love that my daughter is able to eat all this sushi and sashimi with us and loves going to a place like this
Simply wonderful sushi. Wide selection. Personal favorite: Fiesta roll.
The quality of food has gone way down hill. Ordered a roll with pineapple in it and the pineapple was mushy and had no flavor.
I order from UberEat and I spent $60 and this is what I got. Bad service.
