We had Easter brunch at Scott's seafood. They had a good selection of food to eat. The service was excellent they really took care of you. The brunch was done cafeteria style so they were covid conscious. I would like to see more creative desserts other than that it was excellent! I thought the price was pretty reasonable for the quality and selection of food you receive
Staff especially Carlos is been very attentive, very accommodating. I Appreciate when I told the manager that I don’t have a cake and she help me get a birthday cake for my daughter next door bakery instead of offering what’s in the desert menu. Overall Experience is awesome ?

I have a rule. The more expensive the food, the higher quality it should be. This is a place where a $40-$60 plate gets you a bite of food that doesn't taste all that great. I had the salmon which was overcooked and tiny. The waiter we had was incredibly rude and rushed us the entire night. There was no one waiting, plenty of open tables and we were out before closing time.Scott's used to be a mighty institution in San Jose. It has fallen hard. Save the money spent here and buy a flight somewhere nice.
They were out of several items (the menus on opentable and their website are out of date as well) Service (particularly for cocktails) was incredibly slow. Ordered cocktails when we first sat down, they arrived during the second course. A second cocktail didn’t arrive until we had finished our entrees.
The food was extremely small portioned and very mediocre my medium rare steak was overcooked and teeny tiny. My husband’s salmon was over cooked and had no flavor. The drinks were overly sweet. The desserts were unremarkable. The only thing that was a hit was the garlic bread with cioppino sauce but I feel like I could have made something similar if I had bought Texas toast in the freezer section of any grocery store. The server was kinda rude and seemed to be rushing us (he kept checking our check to see if we had paid yet and looked visibly irritated when we hadn’t added our cards yet, we weren’t taking a long times at all). Overall it was an extremely disappointing experience at a very high price. We would not recommend this place at all.

Good food and drink. Glad they’re still open!
