Definitely the best barbecue I've had in the bay area. It's as close to being back in the south as I'm going to get. I had the Carolina pulled pork sandwich, honey corn bread and sweet potato casserole and it felt was like I was back in North Carolina all over again. I would recommend making a reservation to ensure you get a booth table because the chairs are a bit uncomfortable as they are metal. The environment was very authentic and southern. They have a great drink menu and is a great place for whiskey lovers. The customer service was also great and helpful.
Nice pub/bbq setting. Solid service. Good beer selection….and now the bad. The brisket was so overcooked and dry that it resembled shoe leather more than brisket. I can’t believe they were “OK” serving this. My daughter got it as well, same thing. This is their speciality. Can’t imagine what everything else tasted like.
Our experience was good. My husband and I have dined at Sauced several times. We invited our friends to try it for their first visit. They liked the appetizers and entrees. Service was good. Only thing is my ribs we not pre cut and only a butter knife to cut with. I prefer the ribs served already cut individually. Apps: burnt tip nachos, grenades, cornbread. Entrees: three meat combos, chicken tacos, Brunswick Stew. Drinks: strawberry lemonade and cocktail. Each time we have come here to eat it has been good so far.
Weâve been here four or five times and always good food, but our most recent visit was GREAT! I had the Hella Cali salad with brisketâ¦will definitely be getting that again. HUGE portion (I got dinner plus two lunches out of it). Husband ordered the loaded sweet potato with chicken and couldnât stop saying how good it was.
The ease of finding a reservation time was simple and straight forward up to and including my last minute need to change arrival times and total patrons in our party. We were immediately greeted and provided a place to sit even though the rest of our party had not yet arrived. Initial observations were good, with several large screen televisions displaying a multitude of live sporting activities. Our waitress greeted us quickly and provided ordered drinks in a timely manner. Ordering was easy and food arrived relatively quickly with appetizers being hot and fresh. We ordered a few adult drinks but although fresh they lacked a punchy/fruity flavor signature. Food arrived approximately 20 minutes later and was hot and flavorful. The burnt-end brisket did not disappoint and the swamp fries were bomb (highlight of the feast). Service could have been more attentive but other crew members seemed to pick up the slack for others in time of need. The manager (although he never introduced himself as such) was quick to offer additional insight, honey butter and comedy to lighten the wait times. Overall a decent outing that I would recommend to families and groups if you have the time to spend waiting on service and final checkout.

Came for a birthday. Everyone was happy. Although it would be nice if you have some grilled shrimp or other seafood
Overall it was an ok experience. The food and drinks were good. The service could have been better. We ordered our kid's food in advance hoping to get them eating, but somehow we adults got our food first.
Moist tender meat and plenty of side plate options plus friendly service made this a very pleasant visit. We will definitely go again.
