This place is so expensive..if you looked at their food it's all pig skin no meat at all . This place was so good before Sam owned this business. If you have high blood pressure or gout this place is not for you.. he cuts the meat for BBQ. The rest skin and all he has soup on it .. not recommending this place..
My wife and I went to my sister's house to celebrate Christmas Eve with them tonight. As we were talking about the food prepared on the table. She said she ordered the lechon kawali at Sam's Diner but it turned out that it was cooked like a chicharon. It's almost close to burned. I told her I experienced the same thing years ago at the same store or restaurant. That means it hasn't changed.
I think it's best to visit this store when they just opened. I had fried Tilapia and Sinigang. Sinigang was too salty but it was good--just too much fat. The Tilapia tasted like it was cooked the day before. I mean it doesn't taste real bad but you know it's not fresh. The guy was nice though... had a feeling it was the owner.
