Ok, I have to give an honest review about this place. We heard about this place from a lady that lived in New York. I asked her where a good pizza place was, and she recommended Rosie's. What a disappointment. We ordered the standard NY thin crust pepperoni and cheese. When it came to the table we grabbed a slice, and when we took it off the tray, all the toppings fell off with it, so all I had was bread and sauce in my hand. The cheese was very chewy and hard to swallow for some reason. The crust was nice and crispy, something you would expect from a thin crust, but overall a big disappointment. The service was great, but the pizza was subpar. There are too many other pizza places out there that are better than this, so we will not be coming back to this one again.
So my family and I were hungry one day and I decided to give Rosie's New York style pizza a shot. I would always pass by and wondered what the food and service would be. So we go in and sit down at the only booth available, and it's right next to the bar with the owner at the bar. It wasn't busy at all. Just a group of old timers having a lunch and me and my family dining in. We take our order and we wait. The salad and garlic knots were served. So we eat, because we're hungry. And we wait for about 40 minutes and are getting restless and wonder if the pizza is ready yet. So we check with the cashier that served our salad and garlic knots if the pizza is ready. The cashier seemed to forget that we were waiting for our pizza and the owner behind the bar did not check on us and thought we already got our pizza. The pizza was never made and we had to wait even longer. At this point we were ready to go and I started getting a migraine because I was so hungry. When they finally served our pizza, we were dissatisfied with the pizza and the service and wasn't a pleasant experience. I don't understand how they forgot about our pizza when it wasn't busy and we were sitting next to the owner. BTW, instead of offering more garlic knots I would have rather had another salad.
If you haven’t had the baked lasagna or baked rigatoni, then, well, you will just have to take me on my word: phenomenal. I could have this every meal, and I just might.I’ve had pizza a few times (working for the building’s owner doing some maintenance). Never having seen the menu passing I asked the manager if they do pasta. “Oh, yeah,” was his reply.“Oh, yeah,” is exactly right.Three big screens for sports fans.Beer and wine bar.Not overpriced.Great staff, the place is well-maintained and clean, including the restrooms!
I ordered takout and the person who took my order was friendly and helpful. The person who took my payment when I arrived was also very friendly. The restaurant was full. The stromboli was very good. I ordered the garden stromboli and I feel it could have been better if the veggies had been cooked (tossed on the grill) first, as they didn't cook that well wrapped in cheese and dough. But the stromboli still tasted very good. I also ordered a slice of pizza and it was pretty good too!
Excellent pizzas, pastas and everything else under the sun ? The gourmet Cesar chicken salad and Brandon's salad are fantastic. The best Cesar dressing I have ever tasted in any restaurant. JR runs a clean and well maintained restaurant. We absolutely love coming here ❤️
I really enjoyed Rosie's, and I'd definitely recommend trying the garlic knots. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the mood for pizza.
Pasta dish was really good. I also had a slice of their combination pizza and to be honest it was nothing to write home about. Nice environment and friendly staff makes it an enjoyable place to go. I will go back for more pasta dishes for sure.
Luv the crust and all fresh ingredients they throw their own dough. Probably best new your pizza in town. The staff always friendly never bad attitude
Mexican Fiesta Chicken Salad is amazing, my favorite. Tons of chicken. Pizza is also one of the best NY slices in town.
The pizza was very good, especially as pizzas are not necessarily my thing. The large one was very large, great for leftovers if split between 2 people. The waitress was not the friendliest but minimal interaction.5 stars on food.4 stars on service.
