Nice food. Friendly staffs. Fun experience!I got the hanger on the Rok. The Rok is their signature style where they serve entrees on an extremely hot rock. I can then cut the entree into pieces and grill them on the rock. It was so much fun, and I loved that I could control how well it was cooked.The sweet potato fries were delicious!The roasted veggies are decent.

1st time going here. Took the wife out for valentine's day dinner. We went early which did allow us to talk to the waiter for instructions on how to cook our steaks on the hot rocks. Good overall meal. They were out of the cheesecake I wanted for dessert.
The burgers were really good.Elk burger was really tender and not greasy at all. Buffalo burger was flavorful.Service was good.Would visit again.

Ive been here a couple times. I like some of the food and prices are pretty competitive for a steakhouse... I would NOT recommend having the chef cook your steak though (chefs seem to over-cook them most times). Cooking it yourself is a safer. Also be warned, youll come out smelling like a BBQ/smokey.
This was a great experience. My boys and I came to town for a 49ers game and were looking for a restaurant that wasn’t fast food with some better dining options. We decided to go in and see how Rok worked. It was a busy night where it was clear we should have had a reservation but we didn’t have one. The host said to hang out for a minute and he had us seated in less than 5 mins, truly great service! The servers was great and very on top of everything, and making sure we knew how it worked. They bring your steak out on a 750 degree rock and you cook the pieces you cut off yourself to your liking. My boys and I loved the food and experience! I would definitely recommend this to anyone.
I stayed at The Hyatt House San Jose/Silicon Valley, and went next-door to get a bite to eat at the Rok Grill. What a wonderful surprise! You can grill your own steak, and the food and service was absolutely wonderful! I am celiac, and the manager, RJ, made certain that everything was perfect. The house cab was also a pleasant surprise. They have nice indoor dining, but I was able to eat outdoors with a patio heater, so no worries about Covid. Highly recommend.
This restaurant was very convenient to our hotel so we decided to try it out. Our server was awesome and friendly. Our food was delicious but none of us could finish it because the portions were huge. I planned on letting my kids get dessert but there was no way any of us could take another bite! Two of my sons and my husband ordered the volcano rock steaks. They had a great time with the novelty of it and they are all big steak eaters. The rest of us had salads and wraps but everyone loved their food. My kids are sad that we live almost an entire continent away and can't come again.
